My family spent the weekend in the guest house. We had a great time. The home was clean and lots of rooms and space! We enjoyed the hot tub each evening after hiking trails and playing in creeks near by! The views are amazing! The host are very friendly and responsive when we had questions!

The campground had an amazing view. The proprietors were so sweet and accommodating. The lodge is in the process of being renovated so we were not able to really see the inside but Joanna and Jason showed us around and explained their plans. We are planning on returning once it is farther along. The guest house which is an Airbnb is gorgeous and there are hot showers and guest services. We were very pleased and plan on a return visit.

We had an amazing time staying here. Talk about wonderful views and cozy atmosphere. The host Joanna and her husband were very attentive. We got a tour of the layout and we’re very impressed. The location was close to a few Crystal mines (the purpose of our trip). If you love the outdoors and sounds of nature, don’t pass on this place. I highly recommend staying here as a destination for the Mount Ida area. Bring your fishing gear. The pond on the ground was fun. Caught several fish.

This was our second stay in the guesthouse and just as lovely as the first. It looks unassuming from the outside, but there is an oasis within. Soo many bedrooms and beds that everyone has room to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of bathrooms, laundry, a playground for the kids, and a great picnic area. If you enjoy reading, you’re covered there too. A whole library is at your disposal, as well as board games to pass the evening. It’s obvious that each room has been given care and attention to make sure every guest is comfortable. Even down to the plush towels! 🙂 We enjoyed a few outings as well. The driving views are spectacular and there are many options for trails, state parks, and adventures. Queen Wilhelmina park was a favorite with a lodge and restaurant, beautiful views, and nearby little train ride. But most of all, the best advantage Edendell has is its hosts. Jason and Joanna are truly the loveliest of people. Thoughtful and kind, they will make sure you lack nothing and feel right at home. I have no doubt that we’ll be back!

What an amazing, inspiring, and relaxing experience. Staying at the guest house with my wife was just what we needed. The owners are beyond wonderful and enhanced our experience. I cannot wait to have a mini retreat with a small group of staff, friends, or family at the guest houses which is perfect for about 10 adults. Will be staying there several times a year. I encourage you to stay here and experience it for yourself!

My husband and I just completed a “long term” stay at Edendell. Montgomery County is home for us and we have just moved back after a 27 year active duty military career. We are building a house so needed a place to live in our 5th wheel while getting our property prepped and ready.
Jason and Joanna were amazing hosts. We didn’t need that much….just a place to hook up with electricity, water, and sewer. But they kept the grounds beautiful around us so that we could feel like it was our “home” for almost three months. They really worked with us as we had to extend our stay a couple of times. We greatly appreciated that.

What a beautiful porch camping experience. Waking up with nature and going to sleep with the cool breeze and fire pit glowing at night and sleeping under the stars. Joanna was such an amazing host. This experience was what we imagined it to be. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This is a great place to stay!! So many options. You can tent ?️ camp. Bring your RV. They have full hookups plus shower, bathrooms and washer/dryer usage. We stayed in the “Prancing Pony” guesthouse. It was very quaint, peaceful and very clean! The owners are wonderful too!! Definitely recommend!
