I recently stayed at the lodge and had an exceptional experience. I booked a king room, which turned out to be very spacious, featuring a comfortable sofa and chair in addition to a chair and desk. The room and entire building have been completely remodeled, with everything brand new.

I appreciated the special touches that made the stay even more pleasant, such as the fresh flowers, extra pillows, and the incredibly comfy beds. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, which added to the overall comfort.

The bathroom was impressively large, providing plenty of space and a sense of luxury. Additionally, the hotel's central location in downtown Eagle River made it convenient to explore the area.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Eagle River.

Best hotel in town (we looked), well worth the money. Very comfortable to lounge around in on a rainy day. Room is nice and big with a great bathroom. Also had a refrigerator and microwave which cut down on meal costs. Manager was really nice and helpful.

I’m going to get straight to the point for those just trying to book a hotel online:
1. Rooms are very clean. Nice, big, clean bathrooms with shower. New appliances: fridge, microwave, coffee maker
2. Beds are very comfortable. Firm but not like sleeping on concrete.Fluffy pillows.
3. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and accommodating.
4. Area: Right by a school and seems to be a clean friendly neighborhood. Not too far from airport.
5. The front of the hotel is clean and new. The building is not very big and can be a little worrisome when pulling in from highway, in that it’s small and when you’re not from the area you don’t want to be staying in a sketchy place. Please know this is a very nice place to stay and I have no disappointments and am very pleased

You must stay at this place to fully know why. The photos look nice, but the experience is so much better. A cozy room with everything you need and everything you would expect from a very nice hotel. But you won’t pay those big hotel prices. The bed was very comfortable, linens were crisp and clean, the room had a sofa and match chair, the bathroom was very clean and bright. Amenities included: ample closet space, hangers, iron, microwave, fridge, large TV with all the apps (Apple TV), plenty of great pillows, coffee maker with coffee and the fixin's, speedy WiFi and laundry room.||Rooms: Fully renovated, everything is new and in great working condition.||Nearby activities: A very quiet little park located directly across the street. Great for those of you with furry friends or children or if you just want to smoke a J in peace. Haha||Walkability: Restaurants, coffee shop (Jitters) and a grocery store within a few blocks.

This place is awesome!! We stayed here for a quick "get out of the house" night and had a great time!! Easy check in. You do have to climb up the stairs outside, but that is the only "con" I can think of. The park is right across the street. It was quiet. I am usually not a fan of the " motel" style for overnight stays, but at no time did I feel unsafe or uncomfortable. There is someone at the desk 24 hours. The young gentleman that checked us in was courteous, and informative. My husband sat and spoke with him for almost 20 minutes ( basketball I think).
All around, just an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back and tell anyone coming to town to stay there!!

This hotel is under new owners and the transformation is amazing and will definitely become a highlight of anyone's stay in Alaska.

We booked a double queen room. Although we did not have one of the rooms overlooking Denali, our room did have tremendous mountain views of the Chugach Mountain Range in your backyard.

Everything in the room is brand new so needless to say everything was immaculate.

They had a smart TV with a digital local guide featuring some local restaurants and activities in the area, this was also a very nice touch that allowed us to get familiar with some places we may have otherwise overlooked.

The bathroom is enormous with a large walk in shower.

The beds were each a queen with a quilted pillow top. Pretty firm and comfortable. There were an assortment of pillows, some soft and fluffy and some firmer. I like that there were pillow options as my wife and I have different pillow preferences.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay and will be recommending Eagle River Lodge to all of our friends and family if they are ever in the area.

Great find! Smaller boutique hotel that appears to be recently and totally remodeled! Room was good size, bed was comfy, check in process was good and staff was friendly (seems more and more rare these days). Our room had a kitchenette but not sure they all do. Way better value than what we were seeing elsewhere in Anchorage. Will stay here again.
