Very enjoyable and educational activity for exploring the Miami South Beach Area. Tour guide was very entertaining as she educated us on various sites and brief history of the area.

Duck boat felt very safe and the driver (Captain) did an outstanding job navigating through traffic and then taking us on the water portion of the tour where we got to see a glimpse of the billions of dollars of water-front real estate. Highly recommend.

Our noon LuckyDuck land part was ok - tour guide shared lot of details about Miami Beach. Once we get to water driver said something is not ok and he want to check the vehicle (it's pretty old) - so we got back to shore in 5 min. Then we wait for mechanic, water test and eventually (after ~45min) we were told we are going back to city, water part can't be completed. So there we saw nothing from water part of tour 🙁
Once we got back - office was closed and nobody picked up the phone. On my email they responded later that day that once we completed land part and half of water part (200 yards from the shore and back!) they will refund 25%. My other emails about water part were just ignored.
So my experience was bad, waste of time and money.

Fun time. Lots of info and sites to see. Your guide was fun and funny. Very willing to take photos for everyone once on the water. Nice thing to do when in town.

This tour was fun, informative, and really well run. The duck was comfortable, we felt very safe the whole time, the tour guide was fun and genuinely cared about the experience we were getting. Highly recommend for a fun ride around the area.

A great trip. We looked at other ways of seeing South Beach but we were really.glad we did rhe duck tour. Two trips for the price of one and with a fantastic guide and driver, it was a really interesting tour and we used the tips given to visit places o the tour and spent.more time there. Got $10 off too by Googling discount vouchers. Would definitely recommend and we would do it again

If it quacks like a duck but doesn't go in the water, is it still a duck tour?

The Miami Duck Tour is one of those iconic outings all tourists to Miami must do. The art deco scene in South Miami is better than the back lots at Universal Studios (in my opinion), and when the open air amphibious craft actually ventures into the waters around Star Island to gawk at the homes of the rich and famous, the whole experience is a great introduction to all that Miami has to offer.

Unfortunately, we had only half an experience today. Through no fault of the company, some clown with jeep and jet ski trailer backed up onto the exclusive Duck boat boat ramp and submerged his vehicle. His engine was ruined. He couldn't move. We waited nearly an hour for a tow truck to haul him away, only to find out the police needed to come first, and only then would a tow truck be called. So, the tour operator continued with the land portion of the tour, as rain came pouring down.

After disembarking and hearing nothing from Sam, our tour guide, about how the patrons were going to be reimbursed or refunded, all the passengers went back to the office for answers.

Jocelyn, the general manager, was very gracious and apologetic about what had happened. She offered a 50% refund for now or the opportunity to take a later tour that day. In addition, if we rebook on a different day, she added notes to our booking number that we were entitled to a 50% discount. Under the circumstances, that seemed like a fair compromise.

In the end, I only took a few photos of the art deco Miami Beach downtown area on a soggy day with our of town guests. Better luck next time.

Pros: One of the coolest adventures I’ve taken during my stay in Miami. The tour guide is amazing and extremely funny. The driver cared about the passengers and did a great job as well. I had no idea the same vehicle would be going into the water so it was a real adventure just like a duck! My family enjoyed the tour as well and I highly recommend this tour to everyone in town.

Cons: Be prepared to pay a hefty price for parking nearby because parking spaces are at a premium. Also, you will pay small fee if you use your Go Pass as well. Otherwise, worth every penny.

Normally I love city tours, but this one didn't provide enough information about Miami. Instead, the tour guide (Dick, I think? Or Rick, maybe?) spent half the tour complaining about life and sharing personal anecdotes. Very odd tour. Did not enjoy.
