Nightmare Experience with Dream Vacations - John Thevenot

I recently had the misfortune of booking a vacation through Dream Vacations, specifically with their agent John Thevenot, and I must say it was a complete disaster from start to finish. I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism and competence in the travel industry.

First and foremost, John Thevenot was incredibly unresponsive throughout the entire booking process. It took days, and sometimes even weeks, to receive a response to my inquiries. It seemed as though he had no interest in providing quality customer service or addressing my concerns promptly.

Moreover, the information provided by John was misleading and inaccurate. He promised us a luxurious and relaxing experience, but what we got was far from it. The accommodations were subpar, with dirty rooms and malfunctioning facilities. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic to get us to book with them.

The worst part of the whole ordeal was the complete lack of support when things went wrong during our trip. We encountered multiple issues, such as flight delays and lost luggage, and when we tried to reach out to John for assistance, he was nowhere to be found. It was incredibly frustrating to be left stranded in a foreign country with no help from our supposed "travel agent."

To add insult to injury, John Thevenot's attitude towards our complaints was dismissive and unapologetic. It was evident that he cared more about making a quick buck than ensuring his clients had a pleasant and memorable vacation.

Overall, my experience with Dream Vacations - John Thevenot was an absolute nightmare. From the lack of responsiveness and misleading information to the complete lack of support during our trip, it was a series of disappointments. I strongly advise against booking with this agency or working with John Thevenot if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. There are plenty of other reputable travel agencies out there that prioritize their clients' satisfaction and offer a truly enjoyable vacation experience.

I decided to use a travel agent for the first time to avoid additional stress when planning a vacation and John reached out via Next Door while I was requesting recommendations from those in my area. The process was seamless as John is very responsive, ensured we were prepared prior to leaving and that we had his contact information in the event he could assist us while away. In addition, he was able to secure us travel insurance at the last minute and provide a detailed itinerary that allowed us to not miss a beat! I did not have to plan a single second of our vacation and I cannot thank him enough. John went above and beyond to make our experience and Christmas successful. We are already planning our next vacation through him! We HIGHLY recommend using John for any future travel plans.
