The hotel is ideally located for anyone visiting students at UMass Boston. The local Transit station covers free buses to the Campus and also the T into the city centre for a very reasonable cost. |The room was clean and well appointed but the biggest thing for me was the staff. They were very friendly and hospitable.|Wanted to mention the following staff who really stood out and are a credit to Hilton...Ann, William & Ping who were so friendly to us. George on reception was also brilliant, always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. |Yes, you can get a hotel closer to the city and restaurants, but if you want somewhere quieter but still within easy reach if the city...this is the hotel you want.

Attended a Women's History Award Ceremony at the Boston Teacher's Union Offices ( around the corner), from the time we checked in the hotel staff- George and security personnel offered a warm greeting. You could feel and appreciate the hospitality after a long train ride from New Jersey. Then to receive warm delicious cookies, that was a special treat. I am a Hilton Honors member for many years and from all of the properties I've stayed, this was the most inviting. We ate breakfast the next morning and it was tasty, however, it didn't beat the hospitality of the woman taking the order is the buffet area. She was very kind and helpful. The housekeeper who serviced our room gave us extra bottles of water after we asked. We do drink a lot of water ; ) | All in all, the staff was amazing! The hotel was impeccably clean and our room had a wonderful aroma. Planning to stay there again on my next visit with family in Boston. Thank you George for the cookies to go for the long train ride back to New Jersey!

I enjoyed my stay very much in this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It’s very close to the metro station so transport was not a problem at all. It’s very nice and quiet at nights so I had best sleep during my 2-week stay. The only issue is the heat pump is a bit noisy so I had to turn it off before sleep.

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I was on the 2nd floor overlooking the back. The room was quiet.
They have a small bar where you can order food, but the options are limited, not much to choose. I had a chicken quesadilla it was ok and wings that weren't that good. Total was $ 40 with tip. Breakfast took a long time to get a plain bagel with cream cheese. It was a bit pricey. They expect/force a tip, and the service was not good. I would recommend the hotel improve their food options there's nothing nearby.
Parking is available and included.

I agree with other reviewers that this hotel could do with a refurb but it’s perfectly good the way it is and everything works. The beds are comfy, the shower is hot and the room was mostly clean. The location is good, in a quiet spot, there is a beach walk just behind the hotel. The metro line is a short walk away to get into downtown. There is a small cafe in the hotel but hit and miss when it was open. The first thing we did was purchase a $22.50 Charlie card for the trains and busses and that got us everywhere we wanted to go during our stay. There are places to eat 1 stop away at Andrew on the metro or the number 8 bus from outside the hotel takes you to south bay mall. ||Negatives. We had to make our own way from the airport as couldn’t get a response from them (it’s advertised as a free shuttle service) but this was easy. The room was very dusty, clearly not been cleaned properly and the hospitality tray was not properly stocked for our whole trip, I had to go to reception most days for supply’s. The heating is pretty old and noisy ||Would I stay again? Yes - felt it did the job in a good location.

Overall this place is probably worse than an average Hampton Inn. More on par with a Comfort Inn or a Quality Inn.
Rooms were not properly cleaned: I've got a cup lid used by the previous guest in my drawer; hair and dust on the desk next to the bed (judging from the amount of dust the desk probably has not been cleaned/wiped down in days if not weeks); random sticker on the floor.
Location: location was great and convenient, close to the JFK/UMass T station. Airport shuttle was a plus for a hotel not around the airport area.
Service: Staff were mostly welcoming and friendly. Food and beverage significantly overpriced and the cafe and bar were short-staffed. However as a Hilton diamond member, the food and beverage credit was "per day" at this location instead of "per night", meaning if you arrive after the cafe closes, there was no place to use the credit, which is frustrating.

Great hotel. Located close to the T which can get you everywhere. My FOH guy Alvaro was the greatest. Recommended local food and shopping and nightlife. Best host I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Vegas and Miami. Would highly recommend him and the hotel. He made the trip 6 stars. Unforgettable.

Clean comfortable room, fresh cookies on demand who can go wrong! The location is in a great location to public transportation! Shuttles to several local restaurants, airport and a couple key locations. Affordable eats at the cafe and a market walking distance nearby if you want snacks. They staff was very friendly and helpful.
