What a beautiful hidden gem! The owners have clearly put so much love and care into making this place special. My room was not only beautifully designed but also spotless. The breakfast room was a delightful surprise, with a well-stocked fridge full of treats available anytime. The owner and staff were warm, welcoming, and truly delightful. I also loved the thoughtful touch of reusable water flasks and the filtered water station—a fantastic way to reduce waste. Every detail made our stay exceptional!
The hand crochet pillow case at the check in was just another creative touch.

Great experience! The Dixie Motel is a cool, retro motel. The room was recently renovated and spotless. In-room coffee station has pour over set up which makes a really great cup of coffee. Record player with Texas legends. Motel is tucked a couple blocks off the road, so no traffic noise.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a stay in Brenham and hope to be back soon!

If I could give this motel a10 stars I would! Karl and Sarah were more than accommodating. We were a little concerned when we saw the "Dixie Motel" sign. It's the original sign but were somewhat apprehensive about the choice we made until we drove up to the building and "oh...my...goodness!". What a delightful surprise we had. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will return. Highly recommended!

This was the most amazing hidden gem. Karl and Sarah were absolutely above and beyond hosts/owners. I will stay here anytime I'm able. It is totally renovated and very tastefully so. The rooms are extremely comfortable and there's an outdoor patio area that's great for hanging out.

The Dixie Motel was such a wonderful stay it feels more like a bed & and breakfast, not at all like a motel. The owners are so kind & and hospital. We came to brenham for a softball tournament. we had to be at the fields around check-in, and they were so accoumadating and got us checked in early with a quick tour. The Rooms are clean and well decorated. In your room you have a record player with records with a great selection to choose from they also have some wonderful coffee. The breakfast room is available 24/7 inside they had yogurt with fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs, garnola, toast with local jelly 😋 beer from a local brewery. Fresh made ice tea & lemons. They even have to make fresh orange juice. We enjoyed staying here & would recommend to anyone in Brenham it's a must stay! You will not be disappointed. Thank you to the owners on our lovely stay.

Absolutely in love with this cute and cozy hotel. Rooms are perfect and the breakfast is simple yet to die for. All the food is local and fresh. There are small cool details everywhere you look that show the owners care and put serious thought and effort into everything. If you’re going to Brenham this is the place to stay. Can’t say enough about this place.

The Dixie Motel is simply wonderful! The rooms are clean and so comfortable. Sarah checked us in and took us on a quick tour when we arrived. ||The Dixie Motel-branded water bottles are such a nice touch, as is the breakfast (homemade jam!) We loved that the motel was restored - such a neat place to stay! We will definitely stay at the Dixie Hotel next time we visit Blinn/Brenham.

We loved this motel! Karl, the owner, is very personable and accommodating when we wanted to check in early. Enjoyed hearing the history of the motel. We will definitely stay here again!
