Took the open water course, signed up with Kyle who owns the shop. Kyle had rental gear but I had my own, he checked it out first and I purchased a few items from him and the pricing was good, also recertification my tank and filled it. Matt and Dave were the instructors, both knowledgeable divers and good instructors. The course isn't fun but designed to make you confident and by your final dive you will be and able to enjoy your time in the water. First two days are in the pool and the next two days are in clear springs. I finished up my last day on a week day, they can be flexible to some degree and more so if you have a group.

My husband has been going here for years to get his dive gear and tanks.Kyle the owner always recognizes us and greets us, I am always surprised because we only go a few times a year. He is always very friendly, happy to help or answer questions. I did the open water certification over the last couple weekends and the instructors Matt and Dave were wonderful! Very knowledgeable, explained everything in great detail, answered all our questions. I felt very comfortable by the end and am looking forward to my first official dive with my husband in a couple days! And I will definitely be doing my advanced certification with them!

Diver City has been great. From initial conversations with Kyle, James at the shop and Dara, Dave & Matt were amazing instructors. They made us all feel at ease and comfortable every step throughout the training!! Highly Recommend!!!

Great local dive shop.
Kyle and Andy help me in the shop often with fills and women. Great to work with and give you personal customer service. Not like a big corporate monster. Dara is a great instructor. Oliver works there too he is always very friendly. Highly recommend this dive shop.

Great Customer service, and great teachers for apprehensive divers. They understand and know how to work with people that may be struggling with some skills for courses. This is important nowadays where everyone wants it the easy way. Work through it, learn it and you will be better. That's what they teach. Loved the Scuba course, and all the knowledge. Thanks for some great memories. If you're looking for a more personal scuba course, this is it.

I took their spearfishing class this weekend. It was fantastic, very informative. Kyle really knows the sport. I had a great time and left with a greater appreciation and understanding of the sport. Today was the actual spearfishing dive which was also top notch. I love a shop where safety comes first. I highly recommend stopping by and talk8ng to guys about your next dive.

I can’t say enough great things about DiverCity. I’ve been using the shop since I moved to Tampa 5 years ago, and Kyle has taken great care of me on everything from tank fills to regulator service, purchasing new equipment, and scuba certifications for my family.
