Captain Keith was awesome. He is clearly very knowledgeable about the waters around the Cape. He took the time to point out some gray seals and whales. We were lucky and had sharks around us after about 10 minutes.
There are good reasons why you do not see great whites on this trip. They hang out in shallower areas, they are enormous, and the boat cannot pursue them.
Captain Keith also gave us pointers on how to avoid seasickness next time. He is a funny and kind guy. I’ll be back next summer!!

Our Captain, Keith, was awesome! Very engaging towards our group and knowledgeable throughout the whole experience. He even slowed the boat down for us to observe some whales that swam near us while heading to our dive point.
My group managed to see a few sharks during our experience and he made sure we were able to get a good look both from the cage and on the boat. Highly recommend for anyone interested in cage diving and wants to see sharks first hand.

We saw three blue sharks and they hung around the boat for awhile. The captain said they basically never see great whites in the cage, which we didn’t gather from the website. They drive by a beach with seals in hopes of seeing one on the drive back. The water is soooo cold, even in the summer, so plan accordingly. We could barely stand it with wetsuits on. Also, you just wear a mask and have to hold your breath. We were assuming we would have a tank of air at the surface for more viewing time underwater. Pack a lunch, as the boat only provides water. Overall, it seemed like a cheap experience compared to the cost. Scuba diving boats provide food and seem more attentive for the price. Lastly, the drive is two hours each way, and the seats are very uncomfortable, so skip the trip if you have a bad back!!
