Very cool interactive place of discovery for the little ones! There were so many different areas for the kids to explore. I love anything than can incorporate having fun while learning! Plenty parking, easy to get to, fair pricing for tickets. Definetely recommend!

We brought two of our grandkids there. It was our first time. We really didn't know what to expect. The place is incredible! Our grandkids loved it. There are two floors filled with display, exhibits, and educational activities organized and arranged in thematic areas. The themes included agriculture, electricity, medical fields, auto mechanics, bubbles and viscosity.

My toddler had a great time. So much to do for kids! We will def be back. The employees did an amazing job keeping the spaces clean. My two year old did not want to leave!

It is a very fun place, with various amenities. The children really have a lot to choose from and without thinking about it we spent many hours entertained. Math, science, biology and the universe converge to leave fun lessons for the children. The best thing is that even though we went on a weekend a little late (at noon), it was not very crowded. Without a doubt a good option for families.

We've been members for the past several years. My kids enjoyed so many days playing and learning here. Tons of fun, interactive things for kids of all ages to see and do. I would recommend a membership if you are local and bring the kids often. They have areas for baby on up including an outdoor play area too! I would suggest a weekday morning or early afternoon for the least amount of crowds especially if you have young children.

It’s a fun place with quite a lot for children to experience however, it needs a bit of a refresh. So much has been the same since I was a child even. The outside play area is enjoyable but really needs some maintenance and upkeep. The water play outside has been sitting for years broken down and looking awful. As I walked around the other day I realized how dingy things were looking out there. There was trash inside of a locked maintenance window that’s there to show balls being sent up to the shoots above, the paint of everything is faded.
We’ve been members for years and they increase the membership price every year. I wouldn’t mind that if they were actually putting that money into improving things but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
To wrap it up, yes it’s a fun place but for the people who have grown up with this place and are now bringing our children here over and over, we can see the need for improvements. The employees could be friendlier and customer service oriented. They don’t ever seem to be having a good time.

If you’ve got kids, the Discovery Center Museum is a total game-changer. We spent a couple hours here and the little ones were totally engaged the entire time. They loved the hands-on science exhibits and the craft workshops were a nice bonus. There’s so much to do—everything from building robots to creating your own little experiments. I dropped around $50 for admission, but it was worth every penny. It’s super educational, but still fun enough to keep the kiddos entertained. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a place where the kids can learn and play.

We've been members since we moved here 4 years ago. Amazing deal if you ask me. Always have a place to take the kids for a couple hours especially when cooped up in the winter. So many different things to do. Love their Friday night events. The tot classes are so great, just wish their slots didn't fill up so fast and I'm not sure how to take them anymore with the no sibling policy. But I love that there's a discount for other museums across the country. Used it in Milwaukee but wish more museums in Chicago were apart of it.
