We signed up for the 5 day coastal gravel tour and ended up converting to a "small custom" tour because there were only 3 participants. Ryan and Jen picked us up from our hotel in Santa Rosa and gave us an adventure of a lifetime! Ryan had planned the routes into the Redwood forests carefully and knew the area well. He took us deep into the forest and was able to read the crowd on how we rode, speed, and technical ability and adapted routes accordingly as needed. We also mixed in some beautiful views along the coast, long paved climbs, and coffee shop stops.
And, the sag vehicle would show up every hour or so for a snack break, it was like magic! Everything was planned seamlessly but we never felt like we were on a strict schedule. Ryan and Jen are great at what they do and made our trip both challenging (hills!) and relaxing (didn't have to plan anything!). Highly recommend, you will not regret choosing Dirt Gypsy for your cycling adventure!

My brother and I we're looking for a guide to bring us for a half day activity as part of my wedding celebration and landed on Mountain Biking, despite having only ridden road bikes before. Ryan and Mark were great on explaining the basics to us and picking out a trail that matched what we were looking for. A tough climb to on the bikes to the top was made fun with good conversation and encouragement from Mark. After a few water breaks, we were rewarded with the fun of the turns and obstacles on the way down, while feeling totally safe on how being told before hand how to navigate each section. I also appreciate the photos they took. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to try this out!

Today was my first MTB experience. Lots of experience road biking but I had heard how amazing the trails were in Tahoe, so decided to give it a try. So glad I did! I used Dirt Gypsy Adventures and we rode the Emigrant Trail. I rented a Giant Trance 2, which turned out to be a very comfortable bike for our ~14 mile round trip. My guide, Ryan, was incredibly helpful in making sure that i was comfortable and had a good experience. He was knowledgeable about the trail, local areas, things to watch out for, and teaching some more advanced techniques of single track trail riding. The scenery and views here are simply amazing and I am looking forward to the next change I get to ride with this company in the Tahoe area. I highly recommend them.

We flew in to Reno and wanted to rent bikes for a week, but we arrived on a day they were closed. Ryan met us there anyway, on his day off, and he was super-helpful by also giving us a floor pump, water bottles, and helmets. The bikes were exactly what we were looking for: carbon-frame gravel bikes, in our sizes, and the bikes were in clean, in good shape, tuned up (shifted well and braked quietly/smoothly), etc. I can't imagine better service!

We used Dirt Gypsy for a shuttle to ride Big Chief trail. Our driver Jeni was very nice and gave us her cell just in case we had any issue on the trail. The van is comfy. Overall great service!!
