Exceptionally great tour with our fantastic guide Stephen. The narrative was clear and informative, and we learned a great deal about the landscape and the Navajo nation. Stephen proactively offered to take group photos, and at one stop played a song on his flute. He was patient and answered all of our many questions. The scenery was stunning. Highly recommended.

The cultural tour was just the BEST! Our guide, Yvonne, did an outstanding job! There was only the two of us on the tour, and Yvonne made us feel like we were on
a VIP private tour! She was so patient with all of my questions, introduced us to families currently living in MV, took our pictures for us, she even played an original composition on her flute! We loved how Yvonne would spark imagination and wonder throughout the entire tour!
We loved every second of the tour and would HIGHLY recommend it!

Highly recommend this 2.5 hour tour. Keep in mind, They are on mountain standard Time so they are 1 hour ahead of page Arizona. The native American tour guide took us through areas that cars would not be able to go to on private property. And spoke to us about his culture and we even got to hear him play some native American music. Very cool tour.

No visit to the Monument Valley is complete without joining in one or more of these fantastic mini tours. We took a private, 2.5-hour tour. I had previously driven on the loop drive, so our guide skipped over those places and took us deep into the park.
3 hours later, we walked away literally with a renewed understanding of the Navajo people, their history and their culture. Most importantly, their relationship with this seemingly dry, dusty, and hostile land. Our guide showed us how Native Americans coexist with nature, respect it, give and take from it, and achieve a profound sense of our place in this world. Peace and tranquility is yours to be had, even if it’s almost coincidental.

My family and I had one of the best experience of our lives ! Joseph, our guide, was so kind and knowledgeable and made the whole experience perfect. We got to explore the part of the loop drive accessible to everybody with a car (so it’s good if you wanted to do it but aren’t sure about going with your own car / doable but bumpy and you have to be extra careful), but mostly we were in the restricted areas and the back country. We paid for the 2,5 hour tour but were put on the 3,5 hour one. It was so nice of them and time flew by so we are so grateful for it !

The highlights were :

- seeing wild horses (including a couple of days old baby) ;
- visiting a traditional Hogan and getting my hair done in a traditional bun by the most lovely lady (sadly I cannot remember her name but I will never forget her) ;
- seeing arches (that you cannot see on your own on the loop drive) and laying down on the rock to listen to Joe singing a traditional celebration Navajo song ;
- having our picture taken by Joe who showed us all the tricks for cool pictures on our phones ;
- and of course learning more about the Native American people and their culture is beyond interesting !

After coming twice to Monument Valley before, it felt way more genuine to get to see more of this amazing place. I had already done the loop drive with my own car before and even though the scenery is already great on its own, having a local guide is a game changer. I have no words to express how much I love Monument Valley and the Navajo people and their culture, and Dineh Bekeyah Tours (Joe) did a great job at making me love it even more ! We will be back for the overnight tour and cannot wait ! Thank you Joe !

Amazing tour! They only had a tour at 2 pm (it was noon for us), and we asked if there was a tour sooner and they found us a driver no problem! It was just me, my sister and the driver talking to us the whole time. Our guide, Michael, told us all the mesa names, and stories of how he grew up in the valley. Very memorable, very fun and worth the time and money. Also we were fortunate enough to get an extra 30 minutes on our hour and a half tour, very thankful!

We had an amazing experience on our tour today. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the valley, telling us about its history, geology, biography, and evolution. She also shared with us so much fascinating information about Navajo culture, language, history, food, and so much more. We also got a special performance on her wood flute! It was chilly in the open vehicle in December (closed vans were available) but we bundled up and the guide lent us lap blankets for the drive. This is DEFINITELY worth the drive. If coming from Page, do a morning tour so you can experience the scenic drive at sunrise.
