Enjoyable hike to the falls in early October.
The signs along the trail do not say Devil’s Den Falls. With that said, if you just stay left on the trail you should eventually make it there.

Be aware that there are a few pieces of rebar sticking up along the trail. Also there is a $3 parking permit needed as well. Would recommend bringing exact change. Furthermore, the gps location brings you to the actual falls. You have to drive a little further and park then hike back to the falls.

Beautiful place. Only one other family there besides us on a Monday in June. We went all the way up to the highest waterfall which you have to use the rope to climb up to. Did see a snake, but other than that it was amazing. The upper waterfall has even more crystal clear water. The Little minnow fish love people and will give you a free pedicure. The water is so refreshing. Scenery is gorgeous.

Great hike to the falls 2.7 mile out and back.
Somewhat difficult in places but worth it. Be sure to wear good footing.
Peaceful walking along the creek with many small falls and sounds of rushing water.

Water was a bit murky this time around. Pretty busy around 10am. I think I’ll try to go earlier in the morning to avoid the afternoon rush. Saw a baby copperhead slithering up the waterfall. Always great adventure- so beautiful, so peaceful.

I absolutely love this place. I go multiple times a week since it's close to home. Make sure you wear the right shoes because the trail can get steep and jagged. It is a half mile hike to the den. Plan accordingly with weather and time.

It was a good hike. Nice pool at the end. We went on the weekend and it was crowded. The trail is moderate. It's not far but some uneven ground, narrow path and mud. $3 to park and enter. There is a bathroom in the parking area. Enter at your own risk.

They need better signage. Great place for a swim! If you see the below sign that doesn’t mention Devil’s Den Falls, you are going the right way. Parked by Chinobee Lake which is not within Cheaha and requires $3 parking fee.

A wonderful place to hike, put your feet in the water, take photos, enjoy nature, explore the Talladega National Forest, sit with family and friends, swim. You could spend a day here and it will pass so quickly. There are picnic areas, the lake is near for fishing. A small playground, plenty of camp grills and a reasonable amount of parking.
