Amazing charter! We got so much cod and halibut, it was insane!! We even got a king salmon!

The crew was super friendly and knowledgeable, and the boat was very nice and comfortable. I definitely recommend Destination Alaska if you’re looking to have an awesome day fishing!

This company deserves a much higher rating than the 4.2 currently shown. We were hesitant whether or not to book a fishing trip with this company at the beginning because of the 4.2 rating. However after carefully reading each review on Google and TripAdvisor as well as their website, we decided to book with them. It proved that we made the right decision. We really enjoy the full day fishing trip out last week (May 27th) with this high quality company. The entire crew were excellent: very experienced, very knowledgeable, very professional, friendly, and all working hard to make sure we would have a great fishing experience. Their boat and fishing equipment are also top notch and in excellent conditions. We caught a lot of fish, including king salmons (hit limit), halibuts (hit limit), rocks, and cods. Our big thanks to Captain Brandon, Co-Captain Tommy, Deckhand Autumn, and their media staff Spencer for such a memorable fishing trip! This is the very first time I leave my review for a company on both Google and TripAdvisor.

Awesome boat, captain and crew! Captain Brandon knows all the spots and will get you on the fish! We limited out on halibut - including a 110 pounder - and then quickly pivoted to cod and were able to catch as many as we wanted. Beyond the fishing we also took in some great sites including a pod of orcas and sea lions. The boat is in great shape, fast and comfortable. Autumn was also a very knowledgeable deck hand who did a fantastic job all around. If you’re looking for an epic fishing and sight seeing experience in Homer, you should start here.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience! Captain Brandon knew all the spots to go- him and his deck hand Cole were both amazing to work with. Every one on the boat got their limit of halibut and got their limit of rock fish as well. I can’t stop talking about how much fun I had. We even saw orcas up close too! Thank you Captain Brandon & Cole. I highly recommend them for your next fishing charter!

Our party of 3 did a mix bottom fish charter trip with Destination Alaska out of Homer June of 2023. They put us with another group of 3 and We had a great time and all limited out on our catch of Halibut Rock fish but no King Salmon. The Captain And Crew were very knowledgeable and worked hard for us to catch our fish . When we return again we will definitely book with Destination Alaska. Their Boats & fishing equipment are Top notch as well as knowledge of the area. We also seen Whales seals otters & other wildlife it was a true Alaska Adventure. Trust me when I say we had the best adventures with Destination Alaska! Joe, our pilot could really get a second job as a stand up comedian and is the kindest ever. The owner, Scott , goes above and beyond with his professionalism and makes sure your having a good time. Thank you for all the fun things we did including charters, jet skiing, and bear viewing. They definitely made our Alaska experience one of a kind!

Joe was a fantastic pilot on the float plane to and from our fishing ship with a lot of humor combined with excellent flying. Will was a terrific pilot/guide on a bear watching tour. I would highly recommend both pilots and absolutely recommend anyone wanting to take a bear viewing tour use Destination Alaska

I had an epic jet ski experience hosted by Destination Alaska! Our guide Brandon toured us around Kachemak Bay & surrounding coves in sturdy Seadoo GTXs which made for a comfortable and responsive ride. I stayed dry the entire time while outfitted in top notch dry suits and safety gear (they prefitted and provided). We saw waterfalls running down the mountain sides, otters pods, puffins, and even a group of humpbacks whales! Once done with our excursion we docked up to the impressive Peregrine (landing craft) where we were greated by Captain Joel - friendly and accommodating with beverage and cuisine - they even have a hot tub on board! Afterwards float plane pilot Joe skillfully flew our group back to Homer to land on Beluga Lake. Their VIP luxury Cadillac shuttle services made for a relaxing ride back to our vehicles. I was born and raised in Homer and have had many amazing adventurers in and around Homer, however this is an experience and memory I will never forget! Thank you Destination Alaska!
