The skeleton staff at this DHS office is very ineffective. They kept me running for weeks claiming that info giving to them was not good enough. So I drove back and forth across town to provide what I
I assume is the correct info. Today I learned from an actual telephone caseworker the employees never scanned anything. We have been hungry, no Snap,no anything. Which can lead to my case being denied. It may be 6 more weeks before we can receive Snap. I am disabled, they are denying people with disabilities the rightful federal/state benefits. Now To wait and see if telephone caseworker does the same.It took him 2 hours for him to straighten out whater these incompetent workers did.The state of MO just got found guilty in federal court for denying disabled individuals with non existent telephone interviews, and not enough employees in the local offices. Google it,research it. This office should be investigated.

If I could give negative stars I would. That is how badly run this entire office is.

I missed my scheduled phone appointment for SNAP (food stamps). However, within a couple of hours a representative called me, did my interview over the phone, and I never missed any food stamps. Very impressed!

The main complaint is the waiting. Showed up when they opened there were 4 others eating with me. 2 and a half hours of waiting. They claim they have a phone number but after 25 min on hold it automatically hangs up on you so thats not a option. If you have to go make no other plans as it could take half a work day to be seen

Rudest people. Omgoodness I don't wish this on anyone.. best of luck. They need sensitivity classes. I think they slept through the rest of their training.
