We stayed here for one night and really liked it much. It was very quiet and we had time to relax. We could buy eg a burger plate and grill it on our own. Owners are very Friendly. Very very good breakfast, very clean cabin. You can hear the river flow.

We stayed one night on our way to Fairbanks. Our cabin was fantastic. It had a nice comfy bed and we were on the riverside so we had our window open all nite long listening to the rushing waters!!! Audi, Jennifer and Augustus were great hosts. Check us in quickly and showed us our rooms and made sure we knew how to operate everything. Audi recommended us to a few spots to have our picnic supper as we brought our own food, ( there isn't much around here, but he does offer a few items for you to cook yourself with grill. call ahead and ask what they have). Next morning we had a nice breakfast cooked by Jennifer. Fresh hot crossiants, egg casserole, pear coffee cake (not its name but its the best I can describe it) along with oj and coffee and plenty of other items. Breakfast was at 0830. Audi is full of Knowledge so ask away on the local area even the state.. Great stay and if we make it back here we would stay again and longer. Thanks||||Bring Bug Spray!!!

Just absolutely lovely! We stayed in an upscale tent right next to the river. The ambiance and sound were wonderful to fall asleep to. We stayed on the night of the first frost, which made the tent a little cool; however, the bed was very comfortable, warm, and luxurious. A private, clean bathroom with all the needed amenities was a easy walk away from the tent. Breakfast was by far the best away breakfast i have ever had with fresh croissants, quiche, and granola. The owners were very attentive and accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for places to go and eat. By far the best place I stayed in Alaska.

Although we were only able to stay one night, we very much enjoyed our time in the Wickersham cabin. Located right beside the river at the eastern end of the Denali Highway, Denali Highway Cabins are well located for those who plan to drive the highway (really just a gravel road). ||||Audie and Jenny greeted us when we arrived and explained that dinner (if we were interested) would comprise salmon, that you grill yourself, and potato salad. It was the option we chose and it worked out very well! The cabin was lovely, with a king bed, porch, and views to the river. Breakfast was more substantial than I expected with coffee/tea, baked goods, yogurt, and hot entree. The only thing missing was perhaps a shared refrigerator where we could have stored drinks and a few perishables but Jenny put them in their refrigerator for us.

Stayed in the Alvin cabin after pleasant welcome by the owner. Everything and more than anyone could expect in a remote location like this. Breakfast a little unusual but very acceptable. Felt a little under pressure to get to the great room for that at 8 am (sharp) though but, still, we needed an earlyish start for the trip across the 8 to Cantwell. We were well prepared for unusual dining arrangements so all good. Wine on the deck until very late with the sound of the river very relaxing before turning in to very comfy large bed. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was delicious. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the area and we enjoyed spending time visiting with them. Their little boy is such a joy! ||They suggested we drive the Denali Highway and we loved it.

When I arrived in Alaska and mentioned my family and I were staying in Paxson for two evenings, several different persons looked and me and said, "Why?" There is nothing there? Well, they clearly havent been to Denali Highway Cabins. We were greeted by our awesome hosts, Audie and Jenny, and shown to our cabin and tents when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the attention to detail. I cant say anything negative about our stay! The host took time to talk with guests at breakfast and offered salmon or burgers/potato salad/ice cream for sale along with a grill to prepare meal since there are not many places to dine in the area. Would highly recommend the Denali Highway cabins!

My family and I spent a couple of nights at the Denali Highway Cabins in early August. Our host was wonderful, the cabins really wonderful, and the location was in one of my favorite parts of Alaska. Our beds were super comfortable, and everything spotlessly clean. During the day we spent time hiking and sightseeing along the Denali just to the west of us. Beautiful scenery with plenty of active beavers, including a group of three beavers building their dam. I'd totally recommend Denali Highway Cabins to any travelers.
