Beautiful sand bars, quiet beach spot without a lot of people. Easy to have a semi-private beach experience at this beautiful state park with tons of parking. Beach is a bit rocky, so go prepared with water shoes then walk to the left from the lot and you'll reach sandy areas. The sand in the water is so soft and clear.

Love this beach. Super rocky though so have good water shoes. Awesome place for bringing your dog, which is usually difficult to find beaches that allow pups.

The main access road is closed for some maintenance. Off season only i would think, continue past main entrance about 1/2 mile and you can find a small trail. Parking for about 6 cars on side of road.

Great picnic area for the family, lots of space for kite flying and outdoor games. At low tide the water is so shallow it creates sand bars and tide pools with lots of sea life for the little ones to explore. One of my favorite spots for a relaxing day to unplug.

This is ideal to those people who are nature lover. All around you is a piece of nature to enjoy and experience. The park is like in the forest and so close to the sea at the same time. Picnic tables are all over the place with grilling places available too. My family loved it.

We had such a good time there. The kids all saw crabs and hermit crabs. When we went the tide was pretty low but started coming in around 2ish. We will definitely go back there.

Closed to motor traffic until memorial day, the walk in was pleasant and well rewarded with a beautiful stony beach view.

Are you looking for a hidden gem? I've seen many reviews and a friend recommended visiting this park. My visit was more than I expected, since it's off season there were a few people out walking with their fur babies.

I love finding new trails to hike and you have many choices, great scenery, glimpses of wildlife and photo opportunities.

I walked the George's pond loop to the beach, following the dirt road path to the main parking lot. Beyond the picnic tables there is another path that leads to Giles Creek.

On a beautiful sunny day, you can see for miles away. I highly suggest visiting during the off season, you will find a great adventure waiting for you.
