My wife and I just returned from David McGuffin's Exploring Europe "The Best of Ireland Tour". We highly recommend it. David was entertaining and well-informed. The tour schedule is well paced, never rushed. Locations of hotels/restaurants are well placed too. Between David and our bus drivers we were well informed of everything Ireland, the good, the bad & the ugly. Greatly appreciated the free time he allowed us to explore the towns and choose our own restaurants when not having group dinners. Ireland is simply beautiful, a cattleman's paradise. It's hard to pinpoint favorites honesty. We had a small group of 12 and everyone clicked making this trip run smooth and effortless. We liked David's company so much we immediately booked another trip with EE,Inc. If you can't have fun with this company you're not trying hard enough.

We were on David McGuffin's Exploring Europe "The Best of Ireland Tour" in May/June 2023. We highly recommend it. The tour went on without a hitch. David was entertaining and well-informed. All of the tour stops were special. The tour schedule was well paced, and yet we did not feel rushed. Greatly appreciated was the free time built in which allowed us to explore the towns, choose our own restaurants, and relax for a bit.
Visiting the working-class neighborhoods of Belfast where the battles between the Protestants and the Catholics raged in the past was particularly impactful, as the tour guide lived in the neighborhood and experienced much of its violence. All in all, the tour ran the gamut from Ireland’s astounding beauty to
its rich historical sites to its delightful and charming residents. This trip seemed smooth and effortless, but we know it required David’s careful attention to detail.

My wife and I just completed the Ireland Tour and it changed our whole attitude about doing a tour. We loved being in a small tour group where everyone gets to know one another. We had a fantastic group and it was by far, one of the best and most informative trips we’ve ever been on. From day one, each trip was carefully planned with an abundance of daily tours as well as needed downtime and though I have a hearing loss, David spoke louder to accommodate. We NEVER waited in lines for ANYTHING. Anytime we showed up for a reserved tour, we were immediately escorted thru. Our dinner locations were chosen by David because of the charm, the history and the personality and DID NOT disappoint. The food was always outstanding with great selections available because of varying tastes, and we never expected wine and spirits to be included as part of the dining experience. David also picked some out of-the-way locations to stop where the town was not overrun with tourists and where the larger buses were too big to travel. We had to endure some rainy days that required walking in the rain but that's just part of it. Unless we stopped to check into a hotel, the bags always stayed on the bus and if we couldn't check into the rooms early, the hotel had no problem storing our bags for us...at no charge. We can't say enough about the quality of our tour guide and the entire tour itself. It has totally changed our opinion about tour groups and we’ll never visit another city in Europe unless it's a small group tour!!!!!!!

First time traveler to Italy,(Amalfi Coast)and the tour did not disappoint! Not being familiar with travel to Europe we decided to travel with an experienced tour company and David McGuffin's Exploring Europe was everything that we had hoped for.
Everything on that tour, from the quality of the hotels, the comfortable transportation, the great food & wine and the guided excursions, was everything that David said they would be. The views were absolutely amazing!
There was Nice balance between group tour activities and the individual time that you have to venture out and explore on your own. Group dinners were filled with wine and laughter!
David's passion for travel, his sincere willingness to teach and encourage others to discover and experience new cultures and destinations is contagious.
Thank you David, Charlotte and all the wonderful people in our group for making our trip a memorable one!
We will definitely be exploring Europe again with David and his wife.

In April we travelled with David to experience the Tuscany Villa Vacation. We had previously travelled with him on The Best of Italy tour. The small group setting was extremely comfortable. David’s love of Europe and care for his travelers shows in his selection of accommodations and restaurants. He has developed a network of expert guides who heighten the tour experience, such as the guide at the Uffizi. On this trip we had the opportunity to view local crafts persons at work in Volterra- alabaster carvers, custom shoe makers, weavers. Our side trips took us to Pisa and other Tuscan cities. Go to Italy. Eat gelato. Drink wine. Italy is my happy place.

I was a member of David McGuffin's Ireland tour in June 2023. I had a wonderful time! The hotels where we stayed were great and the food was wonderful. I loved the areas we toured and our tour guides, John and Audra Dupuis, did a wonderful job giving us information about and a history of the areas we toured. The tour was so well organized and we had plenty of time to see the sights and plenty of free time. I had a wonderful time on our tour buses. The bus drivers were great at giving insight to and history of different areas we passed as we traveled through Ireland and they were so funny!!! I would love to take another tour in Europe with David McGuffin and would highly recommend using his company, David McGiffin's Exploring Europe, if you are thinking about traveling to Europe! His tours are best and so well organized!

What a fun trip! This was our first experience with David and we had a wonderful time. We took the Taste of Ireland tour which started in Dublin in May 2022. We were drawn to Exploring Europe tours for the small size and intimate experience and we weren't disappointed. It was evident that David enjoys what he does and has a vast familiarity with Ireland, its people, restaurants, local lore and attractions. He provided us with travel information as well as local history for each place that we visited. The accommodations were quaint and the dining experiences were wonderful. We enjoyed that the itinerary was not packed full each day which allowed us to explore on our own. David took us to places that were not typical tourist traps and we enjoyed being off the "beaten path". We would highly recommend this tour and look forward to joining David on another adventure.

I just returned from the Taste of Ireland tour with David McGuffin-- it was a wonderful trip. His selection of hotels, sites to visit, restaurants, and activities were well thought out. He is a knowledgeable tour guide and engaging group leader; my family and I enjoyed our time with him. We definitely recommend his tours and hope to book a future trip!
