There really aren’t enough words in the universe to capture how we feel about Elaina and the truly spectacular planner and person she is. First and foremost there is no question in our minds that hiring Elaina to guide us through our wedding planning journey was the best investment we made. Elaina made us feel like we were her sole focus throughout the whole planning process even though we know she is a superwoman who is planning other weddings and making other couples feel the same way at the same time.

Our year of working together was joyful and personal, organized and seamless. Elaina always had the right words to help ease our fears and the knowledge and insight to help us make the most informed decisions. She captured our personalities and vision in a stunning and comprehensive design plan and was always flexible and open throughout when the vision evolved. Video calls and site visits were something we looked forward to knowing that Elaina had every detail in hand and we were going to be one step closer to our dream day. And it most certainly was!

Our wedding day was pure magic! The vendor team that we (she) put together absolutely crushed it and if anything went awry we did not know about it because the entire day was so smooth and absolutely perfect. Elaina’s calm demeanor and attention to absolutely every little detail, coupled with a killer day-of team, made it so we could be present with each other and our family and friends, and made sure we had the best day of our lives. No question that full-service planning by Elaina of Revel and Joy Events was 11/10 amazing!

It is tough to truly articulate how amazing RJE/Elaina are to work with. She is constantly going above and beyond to make sure every single detail is accounted for (spoiler: they always are) and she takes the time to get to know you, ensuring she has a full understanding of your wedding vision. We got engaged in May 2020, and being the oldest siblings in both immediate families and the first couple of the majority of our friends to get engaged, we were lost on where to even begin with planning a wedding. Fortunately, Alex’s aunt is the owner of a florist company, Copper Penny Flowers (Concord, MA), and Jennifer kindly passed along the names of some of her favorite wedding planners in the Boston area. Among the list of names she provided was Elaina, and Jennifer’s direct words were, “LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Elaina…She’ll be one of your besties by the end.” After our first phone call with Elaina, we knew she would be the perfect person to help plan our dream wedding.

Working with Elaina over the past (almost) 2 years has been the most seamless and enjoyable process we could have asked for. Being completely swamped with medical school and PA school, neither of us had much time for all the phone calls, meetings, etc. necessary for planning a wedding. Further adding to the chaos, neither of us actively live in the Boston area due to school; but without fail, Elaina would be at every in-person meeting for us (FaceTiming us in when possible) and was always flexible and understanding when scheduling our monthly meetings or when we needed to make last minute changes. She is truly one of the most reliable, professional people we have ever worked with (or met for that matter), and her ability to handle all conversations and interactions with such grace so as to not add to our already busy and stressful lives made all the difference. To top it all off, Elaina had never planned a wedding at the Boston Public Library, but when we chose the BPL as our venue there was absolutely no hesitation, just pure excitement for us.

Our wedding was utterly magical, and we have Elaina to thank for everything. Even when our officiant tested positive for COVID the morning of our wedding, Elaina handled everything behind the scenes, preventing any worry for us or our family/friends. While there is no such thing as a flawless, perfect wedding (there is something that always comes up in that 11th hour), our wedding was in fact perfect. We are so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Elaina, and we recommend her to everyone who hopes to get married in Boston. Her calmness and positivity is unlike anyone we know - she is compassionate, caring, genuine and kind, and we are so happy to call her a friend for life. Thank you Elaina for everything you have done for us, and we cannot wait to see you bring the immense amount of joy to other couples as you did to us on our wedding day.

We could write a book on how incredible Elaina and the team were throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. Elaina is truly made for this profession, she is incredibly detail oriented, calm, patient, and we could not imagine our wedding and wedding planning process without her. Wedding planning can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate, with Elaina on our side we felt a sense of calmness and enjoyed the process of making our dream day come to life. Elaina and the team went above and beyond throughout our wedding weekend, specifically with making the drive down for our rehearsal to help with the flow of the ceremony and to help answer our families’ questions.

When Elaina and Jess arrived at the venue on our wedding day, our family and friends felt at ease because they took care of everything with such ease and grace. Elaina instantly became a part of our family, and I feel so incredibly honored to have had the chance to work with her. All our guests commented on how well thought out and planned the day ran, and we must thank Elaina for that. Our wedding would not have been the same without Revel and Joy Events.
