Captain Brian is a great host. This was our family’s second time going out on the water with him at the wheel. It was even better than the first! We saw the most breathtaking sunset, visited crab island, cruised the harbor, saw dolphins and much more! Thank you Captain Brian, we had a wonderful time!

This was an absolute fabulous time! Brian is a terrific captain! We took the sunset cruise and we couldn't have asked for more. Brian brought us to several dolphin areas and the sunset was just perfect! We appreciated being just our family on a boat and not on a party boat! Great time and even better than we hoped for!

Captain Brian was awesome! He went over and beyond to make sure we saw dolphins and sharks that literally swam right under our boat! The bigger boats never got that close, and we loved being on our own boat! The other great thing was that we could switch sides easily on this boat to see the dolphins when they popped up. He constantly circled back, looped around, doubled back, making we sure we git to see every bit of maritime life around us and under us. He’s extremely knowledge about Destin, its history, and sea life. If you’re wanting to see dolphins, this is the boat you want to go on! He also took silhouette photos of all right in front of the sunset, and we got to see million dollar boats along the harbor. We’ll definitely book again when we come back!

This is our second tour with Crab Island Dolphin Tours - and once again did not disappoint. We chose a private sunset tour and Captain Brian was our tour guide. Let me just start by saying that Brian knows how to maneuver a boat. Seas were not calm - yet he made sure we were safe, comfortable and rarely splashed!! Within the first 20 minutes, we had already found a large pod of dolphin and he kept positioning us around the many other large watercraft to ensure we got to see them up close and very personally. With littles on board, we could not have been more grateful to be on a beautiful pontoon watching the dolphin swim right off the front and sides of us while others on larger tour boats were left fighting the crowds trying to get a peek.

After the dolphin viewing, he beached us and gave everyone a chance to take a break from the rougher seas while he taught us about hermit crabs. The kids may have actually enjoyed this part of the tour the most - he was off the boat with them, allowing them to touch and hold the crabs while also teaching about conservation and the importance of making sure we treat the crabs well. We even saved a bunch that someone had put in a hole away from the surf!

And then we ended with our own photo shoot led by Captain Brian with a gorgeous Gulf sunset as the backdrop.

This tour is worth every penny, and we will never book with another company. Thank you to Brian for a night we will never forget!!

This has to be one of the best tours you can get in Destin! Captain Brian was amazing and knowledgeable and fun. It’s like he has a sixth sense to connect with the dolphins. He spotted one within three minutes of leaving dock. He continued to find more for us to see and told us about them and why they were swimming the way they were. We even got to see a baby dolphin and some crazy looking jellyfish! Sure there are larger boats to go on but it felt like they were following Brian just to be second best. We even went out to crab island for the sunset and it was absolutely amazing! Definitely a highlight of our vacation. I will recommend this tour to anyone that is interested. Will definitely go again the next time I’m in Destin!

Captain Brian was awesome and the tour was awesome. If you have a small group (less than 10) this is the one you want. Tons of tour boats passed us and most were crowded while we were comfortable with tons of room. We also had better music than anyone else 😜

We enjoyed our experience on the water with Captain Brian! He took us to see dolphins and sharks before heading to Crab Island. We had never done a boating experience like this before and had no idea what to expect. We would recommend Crab Island Dolphin Cruises with Capt.
