First of all I think this hotel is great in the fact that my room is definitely nice, the staff is very friendly, the housekeeping staff is definitely good at their job. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I was booked for a long term stay by my job (a month to be exact) and once I got here I found out the rooms do not have kitchens, the hotel doesn't have a guest laundry room, and they don't offer complimentary breakfast. But they do have a bistro in the lobby and they definitely make delicious food but it is a little more than what I want to spend twice a day everyday for a month. The prices aren't bad for a hotel bistro though, but I'm use to cooking in my rooms. The pool, hot tub, and gym are all really good too. This hotel is in the Richmond Hilltop District and there are plenty of restaurants near it, also shopping, and a movie theater all within walking distance if you're so inclined

I love this hotel, I always come to visit my girlfriend since we are long distance and the rooms are always spotless, always have a pleasant and clean smell and the staff is always accommodating to your needs. Gio is a wonderful front desk clerk, he always makes sure my stay is amazing as well the manager who is very kind and attentive. If you just take the time to explain your situation they can go above and beyond and be very understanding to your situation. I love this hotel and will never stay anywhere else. Now do yourself a favor and book a room here at the Marriott!

Was only there one night but the place was very nice. The staff were all very helpful and they have a beautiful black cat that lives there and is very well take care of. The beds were comfortable

The hotel was nice overall and the location was very convenient for what we needed. The room was pretty dark but OK overall. Nothing fancy but good for the price that we paid. The cafe in the lobby had pretty good food for breakfast but took quite a while to get it ready.

Everything is nice. However, there should be one safety box in the room. Also, the water pressure in the washroom needs improvement. The mattress in room is too soft to sleep on. Little addition of weights and one or two plain/curling rods to the fitness room is also recommended.

This hotel is conveniently located off the freeway, close to shopping and several restaurants.
There is a Bistro Cafe on the premises. Chef Jovon was very kind and gracious coming by to check if everything was to our satisfaction. It was the first time a Chef has come by my table to see if everything was okay.
The parking lot is clean and spacious. As you enter the hotel lobby, you are immediately greeted with a warm hello and welcome. Angie made us feel like we were coming home from a long trip. ?
Our check-in was fast and effortless (we had a late check-in). The room was very clean and inviting. It had all the things we have come to expect in a hotel room, including a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, iron, and ironing board.  My husband loves to unpack and get comfortable. There were ample drawer spaces. And plenty of hangers. It was very quiet and peaceful.
The bed was super comfy. I normally wake up with shoulder pain at home, but I had absolutely no pain while I was here. I have to find out what type of mattresses they use. ?
Our stay here has made us want to stay at other Marriott properties in the future. We will definitely be staying here when we come back to the Bay Area.

Hotel itself is fairly new, clean. Affordable.Tiny fitness center. Located in a run down part of town, overlooks abandoned lot that overlooks an actually pretty nice view. Hilltop mall (abandoned) kind of brings down the area.

This hotel has to rank as one of the strangest I've ever stayed in. First of all is the location. It's the only remaining business in what is now a largely abandoned mall/retail area. The mall across the street is abandoned, as are all the surrounding properties. The entire area has a lot of homeless people, and you often see homeless people in the parking lot. It feels depressing at best and largely quite scary going out of the hotel. At night, it's not advisable to leave the hotel. Police and EMS are often found attending the abandoned buildings, and sirens are a constant background noise.||The hotel is very quiet due to there being barely any guests. After all, who needs to stay in an abandoned part of town? It has quite an eery feeling and the parking lot is largely deserted, aside from a couple of RVs people were living in (yes, living in).||Unfortunately, our room's balcony was unusable. Like the abandoned buildings around us, it had been taken over entirely by pigeons. They had made a nest on the balcony, and every time we opened the door, we were attacked by pigeons defending their territory. It seems that turf wars are not only found outside the hotel but also on the balcony.||On the last night we stayed, some guests arrived for a weekend celebration. While this hotel seemed a strange place for a celebration, it didn't deter them, and the noise went on until roughly 3 a.m. Twice, reception was called (by us and other guests) as it sounded like a fight had broken out. Reception was receptive and attempted to get them to quieten down, but to no avail. This was the last straw, and we checked out early. ||I wouldn't honestly recommend this hotel to anyone. There really is nothing there worth staying in this hotel for, unless you're perhaps an urban explorer.
