Rarely do I check-in to a hotel and feel particularly welcomed and excited, and Julie provided that unique experience at the front desk. She took the time to explain the unique qualities of the hotel in a clear and concise way, and then helped us as we sought to enjoy the food we ordered. These words may fail to capture the positive energy she uniquely expressed, but please know that was experienced. And yes, this is a fantastic hotel! We enjoyed the view outside including white snow and the wrap-around landing a bit below our second floor.

I have not been to this hotel in a few years. I loved it then and still love it. My son and I were here since he was checking out UMass Amherst. The hotel is so clean, food at the bistro is fast and real good. We had dinner and breakfast. We were only staying for the night. I will definitely be back if he decides to go there for school.

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Hadley Amherst! Shannon checked us in and was an absolute gem—very friendly and uplifting. Kyle at the front desk was also incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the Bistro staff were attentive and kind. The lobby and fitness center were lovely as well. We would definitely return on our next visit! Thank you for a great experience!

The facility does not have hot water in shower. If you like freezing showers in 35 F, then you might like this. The maintenance team and front desk were courteous, otherwise this rating would have been zero stars.
The worst Marriott I have stayed at. I recommend you stay elsewhere.

I've stayed in 60 different Marriott and this one is easily one of the best kept, clean and well maintained facilities I've seen. the facility crew is excellent. a luggage wagon needs a tire.

Room is a bit dated but I’m told the hotel is renovating. Rooms are generously sized but the hot water was intermittently working. Please check room 209. Parking is easy!

Best Courtyard I’ve ever stayed in. I don’t understand the bad reviews - perhaps some don’t know the Courtyard brand and had different expectations. Extremely clean, beautiful grounds, and ample space both in room and lobby. Free coffee at the front desk once Starbucks closes. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Pros: nice staff

Cons: rooms smell like smoke, not clean, can hear EVERYTHING in rooms next door, to top it off, a fire alarm went off at 9pm and everyone had to evacuate. Obviously not staffs fault but someone mentioned that it happens from time to time. Truly a nightmare.

Overall this hotel is insanely overpriced and bad but probably less bad than most in the area hence the price.

This area needs a new hotel and Marriott should be horrified by the conditions here.
