Absolutely love shooting the sporting clay course & five stand too at copperhead. Their outdoor pistol bays are fantastic too. Got nothing but great things to say. Super friendly staff, really nice refreshing classy club house and great merch too. They know what they’re doing out here. Drive in from Austin to enjoy the shooting. Been here weekdays and weekends. Check the website and call for timing and such. Love Ashley in the front always a welcoming face. All staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. Highly recommend coming out here. See y’all again soon!

We had a really great experience here with sporting clay lessons from Jared. Totally professional, encouraging guy that provided excellent coaching for first-timers. Highly recommend booking a private lesson with him. The sporting clays course overlooks beautiful, sweeping Hill Country views and all of the grounds and facilities are well kept. We live nearby and will definitely be back to continue practicing and having fun here.

Super cool range. The store/check in was very cool and clean. We did trap shooting. It was a lot of fun. The stands were well maintained. The prices were reasonable. A few of the shoots didn't send up disc's but we were charged so that was a bummer - but overall an awesome experience. Ashley who works there showed my son a frozen rattlesnake they had. She was just the sweetest! Now they just have to work on making the clubhouse rentable for weddings and parties because it has such a neat feel.

Always a pleasure to shoot here. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rates are very fair and above all else, the facility and grounds are top notch. I drive past other shooting ranges to go here because of the overall quality. It doesn't hurt that this place is in the epitome of Hill Country with incredible views!

A little bit of a drive, but completely worth it. The staff and facilities are great. Everyone has been super friendly and inviting. So much so that I've begun to shoot in the weekly Thursday night Sporting Clays league. All skill levels are welcome, staff super friendly to get you set up and they try to pair you with like-skileld shooters.

The Sporting clays course is divided into 2 sections. Try the red course for some humbling targets!

Extremely nice facilities, very organized operation, and the staff was great! (Ashley rocks) Went here for the first time today and was blown away by the facilities. Huge gorgeous property in the hill country with a lot of shooting bays and was not crowded. The sporting clay facilities were great too. Overall a great experience and absolutely worth the 1 hour drive from Austin.

Anytime you drive a mile and half or so on a dirt road just to get to the range/clubhouse to check in has all the lead up to an exciting day of shooting. I absolutely left with that feeling of excitement. However you want to train, full gear for tactical purposes to clay and semi long range (600yrd max). You can almost do it all here!!!

I drove in 10 hours to help my cousin setup, zero, and a short weekend crash course on precision shooting with his new Bergara. This facility is great! Compared to my last experience, little over a month ago, at another range (birdy hill top... no name drop, if you know, you know), this place felt like the Ritz.

con: 100yard range - bench/stool height didnt work well for me. meh, personal preference. i'll shoot prone next time.
Pros: Pro shop. ammo, shirts, jerseys, pants
i guess a random product table? kinda cool, nothing i needed though.
firearms rental... full auto rental hehe... next time.
clay shooting, 100yard bay, pistol bay, 8 tact bays (plans to make more), 600yard range.
i'm probably missing some more pros, but wanna know more about my actual experience, read on...

Now, we did get corrected a few times (twice? maybe 3?) on the Tact bays, but we were new to the range and learning their rules, nothing serious (day 1: steel distance placement and day 2: steel usage on the wrong bay), the RSO was stern, but still professional and respectful about it. Again, we apologize for our oops, we got a copy of the rules and studied them. cousin got a membership day 1 of our visit, so he should hopefully become a regular and I hope to be a semi-regular at this range when i come to visit.

The "Family Bay" or 100yard, is great. good spacing between shooters, good shade cover. only con... only one thing i can find bad about this place, it so bad... no not really, for me the bench to stool height doesn't work very well. next time i will most likely shoot prone.

Pistol bay, we did not use, every time we wanted to use it, it was busy and crowded, we just used to tact bays for pistols.

Range Officers are always roaming/monitoring and ready to step in when needed. If they are on a line, to call cease or cold line, and notice an action closed they will politely ask you to open it and not do it themselves.

Overall, Love this place, definitely quality service. I can't wait to get back (don't tell my home range that), next time, we will be working towards the long range qualification.
