I took a spontaneous trip to concord and didn’t have time to do any research to plan, however when I went to the visitor center I was welcomed by Steve and Shelley there who both took time to tell me about the walkable places in the town. Shelley particularly knew the history and the town very well. She even drove me to some of the landmarks and took time to teach me history about those landmarks too. I am excited to come visit again and will definitely drop in to say hi to both of them.

This center is located in the Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Tim Sink, President of Chamber assisted me because the lady who run visitor center was on vacation.

There are numerous brochures, pamphlets and guides for Concord and surrounding area. They also have souvenirs; books, key rings, stickers, magnets, t-shirts and much much more!

The building design and decorations are simply beautiful and feels very inviting. I highly recommend making this your first stop in Concord.

Wow! What a wonderful 1 pm walking tour by our guide Shelley- knowledgeable, fun and an amazing storyteller. We were 3 of us visiting from Cambridge and we were completely captivated by Concord- the significance of the town, and by Shelley. Thank you.

We had the pleasure of a guided tour lead by Matt from the visitor centre. He was knowledgable and enthusiastic and gave us a great insight to Concord and its history, particularly its role in the independence struggle. The tours start at 1pm and we would recommend doing one

We arrived at the Visitors Center just before 5 PM today. When Shelley heard that we were coming from Arizona, she volunteered to drive us around and give us an extremely impressive two-hour tour around the town, including Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Orchard House, Emerson House, Colonial Inn, Walden Pond… She is extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about the history of Concord. My husband and I had a great time on the tour, and we could not thank her enough. She is THE best tour guide we have ever met!

Small information center in Concord. Get info on places to see and things to do. Public bathrooms. Rent a bike. Take a walking tour. Buy at shirt.

Super awesome visitor center. Tours available during the week at 1 for general history. Lasts about 1.5 hours, no strenuous walking. For specialized tours like women, indigenous, etc, need schedule ahead of time. Tour per adult is around $20 for general that covers founding, first settlers, revolutionary war, literary and a bit of civil war. Well well worth it.

Well I haven't been in the visitor center but this is to tell folks googling about a small wooden bridge at the edge of parking lot which is a hidden beauty at the heart of the beautiful small town.
P.S. you might want to use bug spray if planning on standing on this bridge for an extended period of time.
