Like most people, I am scared of heights. I want to do something out of my comfort zone, and riding in a helicopter definitely took me there. It was scary for a second, then it was amazing and so much fun. Excellent tour and pilot with tons of knowledge about the area. If you are considering trying it for the first time or an experienced passenger, this is definitely something that you will enjoy.

This was one of the greatest experiences I have had! I have flown with this pilot before in Colorado Springs and it was great too. He is wonderful and walks you through everything! All staff was great and they took my entire family in two different rides. The helicopter is fantastic and new. You can talk to the pilot the entire time too. A great experience which I would recommend for everyone!!!!

We went on the Christmas light tour over Downtown Colorado Springs, around the Broadmoor and the Zoo.
Went with my 81 year old mum and 2 young daughters aged 6 and 8.
Jess was our pilot. It was an absolutely wonderful trip and a memory that will last for years. My 2 girls now want to be helicopter pilots.
Jess was super professional and friendly. We all loved her.
The helicopter was warm and cozy. The ride was very smooth and such fun! Fantastic to see all of the Christmas lights over the neighborhood houses and businesses.
Thank you Colorado Vertical for a wonderful memory!

My family which included my 8 and 13 yr old took a sunset flight and it was amazing! Well worth it and the terrain views you have from the air are incredible to see with the sun setting. If you enjoy flight, our pilot explained his pre-flight checklist and provided a very informative narrative during the trip. Highly recommend as a bucket list item!

Oh the fun this was. My son, age 6, loved it so much, as well as my boyfriend and his brother. It's something we will definitely do again when we are in Colorado! Such a sight and awesome people.

Over the Christmas Holiday, my family and I were interested in a Christmas light helicopter tour, and decided to give Colorado Vertical a try. We were extremely happy with the friendly service we received from Will, and it was great that they were able to take a family of four! Every other helicopter tour we have done in the past only allowed up to 3 passengers, so someone always ended up left out. The tour was absolutely amazing! My Dad, being a huge helicopter nut he is, decided he wanted to take another tour, but this time he wanted to do it in the day time. Will accommodated that request, and helped us pick a day and time that worked for us. This daytime tour ended up being the greatest experience we ever had. On this second tour, Eli was our pilot, and out of the approximately 20 tours we have done over the years, this one topped all of them by leaps and bounds! Mind you we have taken tours in Las Vegas, Bahamas, California, France, Croatia, England and many other places, and this one topped them all! Eli arranged for extra time before the flight to allow us to take a bunch of photos in and around the helicopter. He even walked around the helicopter with my Dad and answered a ton of questions my Dad had about the aircraft. He showed him every part of the helicopter and explained what it does and how it works. He was so friendly to us, and I have never in my life seen my Dad happier. During the flight, Eli talked my dad through everything he was doing and explained so much information about the helicopter and flight in general. I found it amazing that Eli custom-tailored this flight to fit our unique needs as it was quite evident that my father was far more fascinated with the aircraft and how it works than he was in the sightseeing. During this entire experience, we sincerely felt like we received the absolute best customer service possible. This was not “just another tour” for Eli, he went above and beyond to make us happy. I’m sure Colorado Vertical flies thousands of people each year, but they still make each flight unique and memorable. Most other tours we did are just a bland sightseeing tour where the pilot points out a few attractions and doesn’t really answer many questions. In fact, as far as I can remember in previous flights, my Dad always remained silent during the whole flight and only asked a few questions at the end. With Colorado Vertical, my Dad was very involved with the whole process and got a lot out of it. We did not feel like “just another customer”, Will and Eli made us feel like family! In conclusion, Colorado Vertical really went above and beyond to make both flights very special for us, and I know it will be something my Dad talks about for many years to come. We will absolutely be flying with them again in the future!
