Although it was not what we were expecting, Mike was a great guide & was knowledgeable, leaving us with a good experience! Note: You can bring cash if you would like to tip! BRING A COOLER, because the description we read said it was provided, but it’s for fish. We only happened to have a cooler with no ice in the car! The “enclosed bathroom” appeared to be a hole in the boat with a lid, but we were all too afraid to ask, so we just kept our hydrating to a min. I have now been informed that it was actually a camper port a potty, but have no idea if it is private, which was our main concern. We had a very cool experience overall! They really just need to update their description or elaborate more on whatever bathroom & cooler/ice they may have, online & when people board the boat, because we had never been and didn’t know what to expect. The What to Bring part is a little misleading;“What to bring: Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, appropriate clothing, food/drink (cooler and ice are provided).” They might add “for fish,” or just remove the parenthesized part all
together, just to help them avoid upset customers. Maybe they could add an extra cooler with ice to the boat &/or
show everyone the bathroom upon boarding. 🙂 During the 5 hours, we spent a lot of time riding the boat, saw some
dolphins up close (apparently not ideal
for fishing, as one of them stole my fish, but we were excited, nonetheless)! Mike moved us shortly after they showed up, because he knew they’re little sea varmints, but he did let us enjoy the dolphins for a bit! Would possibly do it again, but would try a different amount of time/time of day & come more prepared. Wear thin long sleeves and full length pants if you can. A hat & sunglasses & plenty of sunscreen are a must!! A few of us were cranky after 5 hours, not being avid fishers! Lol
We went home with one fish & some good memories!

We had such and amazing time with Captain Mike. He made you feel very comfortable and at home in the boat. We didn't catch too many fish but we still had fun and felt the money was totally worth it. I would totally recommend recommend this for anyone wanting to try something different. This was my first time "real" fishing and enjoyed every minute of it. Plus we saw tons of dolphins!!!

Captain Ashley was AWESOME!!! She had her hands full with our crew of 2 adults and 4 kids (2,4,7&8). Ashley took us on a 3 hour fishing and dolphin tour, we had dolphins follow us for 10-15 mins swimming and jumping in the wake of the boat on our way out to the fishing area. Then she got us on the fish!!! Everyone caught multiple species of fish and even got to take some home for
dinner.
Highly recommended trip, I’m sure all captains are great but Captain Ashley was AWESOME, we will be booking again with her next year.

Captain Ashley was great.
We had a 4 hour fishing trip.
When the spot was hot we stayed , but tried several spots.
Bait was always ready.She did great with both my teenage son and the adults.
Will book again.

Update: This is our second time using this company and it didn't disappoint. We've experienced both captains and both were great! We will continue to book with this company when we are in town.

Even with rougher than average surf and current, we were able to catch a variety of fish, see dolphins play around the boat and take the fish we were trying to catch. We got to see tons of dolphins up close and watch them play in the boat wake.

This was the best charter we’ve experienced in any area.
Captain Ashley made the experience amazing for my two young children, me, and my husband. We were able to catch multiple types of fish, see some amazing dolphin activity, and swim in a secluded and calm area.
She definitely made the experience more than just another boat ride for all of us.

Ashley was amazing! She took us to the best fishing spots and to see the dolphins. Starting with the ease of booking on their website to their great prices. They kept in contact with me when plans changed before the trip. I will definitely book with them again! So much fun!

We thoroughly enjoyed our outing with Captain Ashley. Didn't catch a lot, but that's fishing...we caught enough to have fun! I have fished a lot over the years and know that if the fish were willing to cooperate, we would have caught more.

We will definitely use Coastal Life Charters and Captain Ashley again.

This was an awesome time, we were originally going to fish the pier but found a spot with captain Ashley doing the 3 hour dolphin and fishing trip. Glad we found this charter, this was much better than the pier and we ended up with 13 keepers. I have been on other charter trips and this one has been my favorite. Will definitely book again on another trip to Navarre. Captain Ashley took us to a great spot to see dolphins and an amazing spot to catch fish, we were getting bites immediately after dropping in the line. Caught grouper, spade fish, red snapper, and a few others. Highly recommend Coastal life Charters.
