This is by far my absolute favorite beach on the Cape! Beautiful beach that stretches on forever it seems! Gorgeous view especially from up on the dunes!
Wicked awesome beach to surf!!
But not for inexperienced surfers or swimmers!! Be very very careful while in the water! This is one of many remote beaches on our coast, you enter the water at ur own risk!! Nearest hospital is almost a hour away!! There are NO lifeguards, has some of the strongest currents, riptides & rogue waves, but most importantly SHARKS!đŸĻˆ
Big mother f'ahs too!! Just cruising up an down Cape Cod hunting seal! Remember to alwsys FEAR THE FIN AND BE SHARK SMART!! SEE SEALS GET OUTTA THE WATER OR KEEP VERY CLOSE TO SHORE!! ALSO, DOWNLOAD THE SHARKTIVITY APP TO GET NOTIFIED WHEN & WHERE TAGGED SHARKS ARE IN REAL TIME!!❤ī¸đŸĻˆ

Beautiful well maintained beach that stretches on as far as you can see. We usually camp near here in August because we thought it was a dog friendly beach but this year we came in July and found out the are some rare nesting birds on the beach and dogs ate strictly not allowed so plan accordingly. During the summer months you will almost always see seals swimming just off the shore line which is a very nice treat for kids.

South of Head of the Meadow beach, this beach is open only to cars with Truro permits. It has beautiful sand dunes and you can find plenty of space. This is an "ocean side" beach, so the water tends to be a bit colder than on the bay side of Truro.

Beautiful, unspoiled topography, with huge ancient sand dunes left over from receding glaciers which dissipated with the last warming cycle, 10,000 years ago. See what the Pilgrims saw over 400 years ago! Unfortunately, do not swim or recreate in the water during the summer or fall months because of the relatively recent shark infestation, caused by the unintended consequences of short-sighted, government policies since 1972. Thousands of protected great white sharks migrate to these recreational beaches every summer and fall to feed on an exploding, and uncontrolled gray seal population that has eradicated, (eaten) cod fish and other indigenous fish and polluted many areas, especially at or near the seal haul outs with odious, seal feces. Swim at your own risk! Great white sharks prey in shallow water along these, once safe, swimming beaches that are now very unsafe.

Great beach, limited parking. We were able to avoid parking because we could walk to beach from our campground.

Great ocean beach. But no life guards these days. There can be lots of seals and the constant threat of sharks. But a nice beach to spend the day on or fishing from.

Beautiful beach. Parking with shuttles to go to the beach. Those shuttles are well design and very useful. We saw a lot of seals close to the beach. All was great.
