First off, let’s just talk about the staff and how cool they are. Just Knowledgeable and fun people. We had a clear kayak tour today with R.J. And had a blast, saw so many manatees (the pictures don’t do justice). Jess inside the store was awesome too. We will definitely be back again.

John was an amazing guide this morning! He communicated clearly and gave us fun and informative facts about the wildlife, especially manatees! He took us to a perfect spot, we just got out of the kayak and voila - there they were!! Several manatees were playing below our kayaks!!

Our experience with Get Up And Go exceeded our expectations for this kind of an excursion. Right away, it was clear (no pun intended!) that Get Up and Go had the most clear and maintained kayaks compared to some others we saw that morning. This gave us wonderful opportunities to see the floor of the river, an occasional fish AND a manatee that swam right under us! A special shout out to our guide, Yassiel, for making the experience both personal and educational! His passion for being a guide was evident and he did all that he could to ensure that we had an enjoyable trip.... and YES! Along with the manatee that swam under our kayak, there were many more that we spotted along the way 🙂

I am at a loss for words. I cannot overstate how wonderful my experience has been today. The entire staff was so accommodating and kind! Shout out to Jessica and RJ!

RJ was our tour guide, but he was more like a friend taking us on a beautiful tour of majestic manatees. His respect for the animals and their habitat is so refreshing and put us at ease as we glided through their waters. His vibe is very chill, so the whole experience was calm. We saw over a dozen manatees over the course of our tour and got several photos of them coming up for air. RJ knows a ton and makes the trip educational, without making it feel like school and he answered all of our questions!

Last but not least, there’s a cute selection of stickers at the store and it smells amazing.

Such an amazing experience!! our tour guide Jon was very personable and educational. He had a great eye for the wildlife and was able to point us in the right direction of where manatees were about to rise so we never missed a chance to see them! We truely felt like it was a private tour. It was amazing to be surrounded by the manatees and other wild life. A must do if you ask me.

It was honestly amazing! Me and my bro had to go down 30 mins earlier to sign a waiver for the kayaking tour. The lady at the counter was extremely nice and greeted us warmly with a bright smile. We could change first and then wait for our tour guide who was on the way. While waiting we saw a group of people playing some kind of game outside, we asked about the rules and they were super friendly and explained it to us. It’s apparently called corn ball and it was really fun, we even played a two on two with them. Soon our tour guide arrived, he was called Kyle. And he was really chill and really outgoing. He made some corny jokes that cracked us up a little, explained the different species at the place and we saw the big manatees. It was so cool how they swam next to us and even under our kayaks. The views of the lake and the cooling atmosphere, it was really relaxing and the pictures were pretty nice too paired with the sun. Overall, the whole experience was pretty fun and everyone we met were super friendly and made our time a whole lot better
