Chip, our tour guide was friendly and endlessly knowledgeable. You can tell he’s truly passionate about everything in the museum and makes his guests excited too! A really interesting and fascinating place to visit and recommended for everyone visiting Southern California. It’s just one of two dedicated helicopter museums in the country!

Stopped by during a cross country flight. Absolutely incredible experience at the museum. The tour guides were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, having no flown several of the craft in the museum themselves. They really brought the exhibits to life. Would definitely recommend a visit for anyone interested in the history of rotorcraft/helicopters. Would be a great place to bring your kids to spark their interest in aviation as well.

A place of great treasure！There are a number of rare helicopters on display, each equipped with a TV to show their flying prowess. Thanks to the very patient guide, my two sons and I had a wonderful afternoon here.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! TRULY A RARE GEM OF MUSEUM!! This place has so many unique one off and experimental helicopters it's amazing. Joe showed us around the whole building and took his time explaining everything! We learned so, so much and I will definitely be bringing more people back here! COME HERE TO KILL AN HOUR!

What was originally intended to be a short sight-seeing stop in Ramona ended up being a 2+ hour visit to the Classic Rotors Museum, which I found on Google search. The museum is a hidden gem located right alongside Ramona's airport with an abundance of history and incredible machines. Our docent showed us around with incredible enthusiasm and a wealth of fascinating information. This museum has some of the rarest, oddest, most iconic, and all-around fascinating collection of helicopters. Personally, every second at this place fascinated me. Make plans to stay a few hours and take in all the incredible history and detail! I will certainly be back for another visit - I'm already recommending this to friends and family as a must-see destination!

Even if you're not into helicopters "Classic Rotors" is a must visit. The volunteers are there for a good reason - passion! Our guide was no exception; Chip, who's also an active helicopter pilot, made our visit memorable, engaging, and informative. He took us through the history and evolution of this very important part of aviation, one that is more often than not, involved in life-saving and other utilitarian activities.
