It was mid-afternoon of the spring equinox when my friend and I enjoyed a wonderful 90 minute Boston Harbor Cruise aboard the Northern Lights. The yacht's charm was surpassed by the captain's and crew's friendly attitudes, knowledge, and excellent service.

A really great way to spend a couple of hours! Went on the two hour sailing as it only cost slightly more than the hour and a half trip. The crew explained everything about what would happen before we left the dock, so there were no interruptions during the voyage. They did point out some local attractions during the trip, but it never felt forced or distracting. The weather was perfect, though I feel this could make or break the experience. I was traveling on my own from England and, after spending a few days walking around the city, this was the perfect way to relax.

Definitely recommended to anyone who likes being on the water and enjoys peace and quiet!

We chartered the Adirondack to celebrate my father's life with our family and friends. My Dad was an avid sailor and we wanted to honor his memory with something that was really special - and this was exactly that. The schooner is absolutely beautiful, in immaculate condition, comfortable and surprisingly fast. Captain Turner was warm, welcoming and very generous with his time while commandeering the helm with an easy and confident calm about him. Under his relaxed but watchful eye he gave those interested an opportunity to helm Adirondack. This is something I highly recommend. It’s a thrilling and impressionable experience for anyone of any ability. The crew was extremely attentive, professional and accommodating. The food and beverage was all high quality and better than expected on board a charter vessel. Hailing from Rowes Wharf behind the Boston Harbor Hotel, the Boston skyline views and Harbor Island vistas underway can't be matched. Such a great brunch cruise! We chose the Northern Lights cruise over other brunch cruises because we liked that it was part “tour” and the vibe of the 1920s ship, and we were so happy that we did! Some of the reviews had said the food was “hotel continental breakfast”, but if that’s the case I’d love to know what hotels they are staying at, because while the food wasn’t gourmet, it was pretty good (particularly the cinnamon rolls, potatoes, and salmon). We left port before the other brunch cruise, and returned after them, we got the full two hours, and a great informative tour, all while enjoying tasty food, and good service—it was worth every penny! And for anyone wondering, the majority of the tables are by windows, with one row of them in the center, but you can get up and walk around and there is a lovely covered deck with plenty of space to enjoy the views. We’ll definitely be going again in the future!

Came from out of town and decided to do the cruise. It was an amazing experience however we were kind of bummed we didn't get upstairs seating. My kids were disappointed to say the least. For that reason I'm giving it 4 stars but the crew was great! Pretty cool to see the planes from Boston Logan fly over as well.

Lovely evening ride! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Nice seating options upstairs and down. The bar and snacks are a nice plus. Really enjoyed our ride. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area.

I booked this cruise a year ago and, through my own silliness, completely missed it! Classic Harbor’s service team was so helpful getting me a credit to use at a later time and I’m actually glad it happened because when I did rebook we ended up with the most beautiful day!!! The staff was absolutely wonderful. They all made us feel so welcome and had great recommendations on sights to see around the area. The food also entirely exceeded my expectation in quality and quantity. I was expecting a basic continental breakfast type service, but it was a huge spread and all delicious! Great commentary on the scenery and history from the captain, but not too much to be obtrusive. I could not have been happier with this trip!! Entirely worth the cost and I highly recommend.

I made a reservation, but I couldn't arrive on time. A 15 min trip transformed in a 45 min at rush hour in Boston. They changed the reservation for the next day without any charge.
The experience was amazing. The staff is very polite. I felt that the duration of the trip was sufficient. The sunset view of Boston is amazing. I think it is worth the price and it is a nice experience to try in Boston.
