Clarke County has many historical sites. This museum is just your link to many of them. They also have some activities during the year. You would need to get that info from them. ☺️

We have gone to the Pioneers Day several time. We enjoy this every year. Get there early and enjoy the butter making, syrup making, music, historical houses, and get the best cases of sweet potatoes and freshly ground corn meal and fresh made syrup. We due love the iron pot cooked turnip soup and flap Jack's.

Went there during business hours. The internet and the sign said open, there was a car there. Door was locked and no one answered bell. Waited awhile in case they were in the bathroom but eventually drove the 2 hours back home
