Ok , I recently rated Citibank with a one star due to my account being frozen and me not having access to my account creating a financial burden on me and my family. It was a lot that went into this and it was extremely frustrating. I about a month into it I called Citibank to see when they were going to send me My funds that were being held. They wouldn’t say much except for my account would be closed and they would send it in the mail in around 60 days. This was over a check that I did with mobile deposit. The check was a stale check due to it being expired over a week. I went through a long and lengthy process to prove that where the check came from was indeed for me and they would allow the check to go through .Citibank still cashed the check and then held the funds as well, proving that the check was good . Yesterday I decided to call again and they told me that they would not give me any information but to go back to the bank itself to see what information they could provide and maybe expedite the process of getting my frozen funds and closing my account. I was not expecting anything more than what I’ve already been experiencing, which is the runaround however, this time I dealt with Tracy, who works at the bank itself in Beaumont, and she was extremely compassionate and empathetic towards my situation , being that I am currently disabled as well. I explained to her the financial burden this has created for me, and now I am late on my mortgage for the first time, and I had to ask friends and family for funds just to pay my bills and some had even been shut off due to this. She immediately got on the phone and was able to do over 25 people were not able to do which was unfreeze my account and immediately give me access back to my funds. I was immediately relieved from a lot of financial burdens that this has caused. I am so thankful for Tracy and another gentleman that was in there that I erased my last review and posted this one. I am still very nervous on the policies that Citibank has as a whole, but however, I do not want my review to reflect the bank that is in Beaumont itself.

Do not bank here! This is a joke of a bank. They will take your money, close your account and not be able to explain to you where it’s at or what happened because the people that answer the phone on customer service cannot speak English. I will never ever think at Citibank ever again, and I will make sure to tell everybody I know not to do it as well, customer service is horrible

What bank opens at 10am Oh yeah all Citi banks. This is a joke and this is the one of many things Citi does terribly. They are a bank that still thinks it's 1990. Hard to run a business when they don't start working an hour after all banks open and they systems are so archaic

I care for william Boadway . He is my childrens grandfather. Our experience with citi has been such a blessing. During the loss of my childrens father and many more difficult times papa has always said they were the best. They are proffesional and makes you feel like family. We moved out of state. And we are gonna miss eachone of them!! It will be hard to find a bank that comes clos to their quaility and standards. We wish citi bank and their employees many blessings. Dishonest employees and manager , if you recieve a letter from this bank to open an account with certain amount of money and they give you 500 dollars is a scam , i did it they kept telling me next week ..next week for 8 months until.give up and pull my money out the bank before they make it dissapear . stay away from this bank ...believe me and its manager .

my man banks here and goes there quite a bit, i go with him and he is in and out of there fast and simple good parking,good tellers,very well lite up for night time banking thru the atm...
