Great experience! The staff was fantastic at the visitor center and the trails were very well maintained. Once again bring extra water and some snacks/food before you go. There are no stores nearby.

About 40 min south of Willcox, the park is an oasis of green and trees from the otherwise stark landscape. Incredible views on the drive to the peak and there could be snow. Get to the top early in case of fog rolling in.

Watch for all kinds of wildlife. Very nice visitor center and super clean bathrooms. No fee here but the campgrounds were full.

A breath taking area with all of the views and nature you could want. Great history surrounding the area and lots of informative displays to tell you about it. Tons of deer all over the place while we were there. Definitely worth the trip for hikes, camping or just to view the impressive vistas.

We did the echo canyon trail and really enjoyed all the crazy rock formations. We stopped for so many pics it took us 2 1/2 hours to do the loop. The park service employees in Chiricahua are doing a great job of maintaining trails and keeping the park looking great. We only had half a day here, but really liked it.

This is a fantastic national monument that's on its way to becoming a national park. The drive up to the top gives you a good glimpse of the park. If you can get out of your vehicle and hike the trails it's a great experience! They have trails for all levels of hikers! If you want a wonderful experience schedule yourself on the 9:00 am shuttle from the visitor center to the top and make it a day of hiking from the top back down to the visitor center.

Stunning place to hike. Incredible rock formations. Far off the beaten path, so fuel up before leaving the highway or Wilcox. Pro Tip - the campground books months in advance. Book early, or you can camp in the nearby National Forest dispersed camping area.

Visitor center was very packed. There is limited parking. It would be great if they had a separate lot for all the little motor homes to park. The roads narrow and a large motor home would have no place to park. Several scenic walking trails.

Absolutely stunning Chiricahua National monument. The park has numerous campsites and hiking trails, but the star of the park is the weathered Rhyolite rock formations. The 8-mile road takes you through the mountains, with numerous pull-offs and relatively easy hiking trails. There is no fee to enter the park and there is a staffed visitors center. Worth visiting!
