Nice, but nothing special. A secluded walk however the main roads are nearby so you can hear cars the whole time. From the parking lot to a full loop without going off to the small paths is about 3.3 miles. Definitely worth at least a visit once.

One of the best trails I have been on. Very well maintained with different short trails to see the lake. It even has a boardwalk through a Cypress grove. There is even a duck blind you can sit in and watch the wildlife.

This was a nice easy trail around a scenic marsh/trail. There was a surprising number of birds . The lake views were the best part. If time allows, you need to see the restored Chinsegut home and grounds across the street from the trailhead. It's beautiful!

Great 2-3 mile hike (round trip). Very peaceful. Easy with kids I have 4 ages 3-9 and they all did the whole loop. It’s best in the winter when the humidity is low.

Wide hiking trails in natural habitat. Many nature related events take place here. Wheelchair accessible but likely very rough on trails. Public restroom. Check hours they are open before heading out.

I did not expect to find beautiful murals in the bathrooms here, but there they were πŸ˜„ Lovely area for shorter or longer hikes. The parking, trails, and bathrooms were open but the visitor center was not when I visited last week.
