We had our wedding reception at Coindre Hall on January 18, 2025, and it was absolutely perfect. This venue is nothing short of magical—from its breathtaking ambiance to the seamless planning process, everything exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we booked, John made the entire experience effortless. He is truly exceptional, guiding us every step of the way with his expertise and unwavering support. No matter what questions we had, he always had the answers, making the entire process stress-free! He handled every detail flawlessly, ensuring that the day of the wedding went off without a hitch. He even made sure that every guest had a chair during the cocktail hour, which was such a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how incredible the night was, with many saying it was one of the most memorable weddings they’ve ever attended—and we couldn’t agree more. The food was absolutely out of this world, and the service was impeccable. One of the things I absolutely loved was that the dancing and dining areas are in two separate rooms, which made for a perfect flow throughout the night—guests could enjoy their meals in a relaxed setting while still having an amazing space to dance the night away.

From start to finish, our wedding reception at Coindre Hall was a dream come true. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with top-tier service and an unforgettable experience, Coindre Hall is the place to be!

My daughter and son in law were married at Coindre Hall on Nov 10th. When looking for a wedding venue, they wanted something unique not a cookie cutter venue. The mansion was the first venue that they visited and immediately fell in love with it. The mansion was the perfect place to have their themed wedding of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
John was extremely helpful making their vision come true. From our first visit and all the way through to their wedding day. He was amazing, answering our questions, suggesting ideas, making sure that their day would be prefect. The entire staff was professional and friendly
Our guests continue to comment on how luxurious the wedding was. They liked the idea of the separate room for dancing, allowing for table conversations, spacious rooms during the cocktail hour, and the ability to access the whole mansion. Also that the food was delicious at both the cocktail hour and dinner, with many different choices.

Wow! Where do I even begin? Choosing Coindre Hall as our wedding venue was the absolute best decision we ever made and we would choose it time and time again. It is simply stunning inside and out with an elegance and historic charm unmatched by any venue in the area, especially for the great price. Where do I begin to thank John Schlenke? He is a superior, competent, caring and devoted Maître d', event coordinator, planner, tour-guide, hype-man, visionary and quite frankly a magician!! He took our vision and ran with it - he combined his years of expertise and event planning - and grew the party into what we had always dreamed about. It was a fairytale!! And quite frankly went off without at hitch. We owe the success of the entire day and a years worth of planning to him. He is the definition of above and beyond!! Something we enjoyed was seeing how personal every wedding set-up was and how John transformed the space into a unique set-up matching the bride and groom to a T. We were able to visit the venue over the year leading up to our wedding for meetings, etc. and John was always setting up an event and we would just marvel at this creativity and love how different each and every wedding looked! At our wedding, he allowed us to go early, he unloaded our car, he created a donut wall, we even saw him running food from the kitchen to the Asian station during cocktail hour...he was always doing anything and everything! We felt he and the staff really cared about the success of our day and cared about us and we felt that was special. To connect on a personal level really moved us and was really something we had to share. The day was incredible and we owe it all to John, the staff and the beautiful venue at Coindre Hall. Highly recommend for any upcoming occasion, weddings especially!

Our wedding at Chateau at Coindre Hall was everything we dreamed of and more! This breathtaking venue has a rich history (built in 1912) and stunning architecture. The beautiful grounds provide a perfect backdrop for photos and outdoor moments, and there are so many unique rooms for guests to explore, each offering its own charm and elegance. We were free to personalize our wedding, making the day feel uniquely ours.

A huge thank you to John, the Maitre D, who played a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life. John was incredibly knowledgeable about the wedding flow and gave us excellent guidance throughout the planning process. He ensured everything ran smoothly, and his calming presence on the day helped us relax and enjoy every moment. The Coindre Hall staff was nothing short of exceptional. From the bridal attendant to the bartender and waitstaff, every team member was kind, professional, and focused on making our day as memorable as possible. The food was also a highlight! It was delicious, and the chef accommodated our guests’ dietary restrictions.

Overall, we absolutely loved getting married at Chateau at Coindre Hall and could not have asked for a more perfect venue. The combination of its beauty, the exceptional service from John and his team, and the excellent food made our wedding day truly unforgettable. We will forever cherish the memories we made there and highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a magical place to celebrate their special day!

My wife and I just recently got married at Coindre Hall and everything was absolutely perfect. From the minute we rolled up for our first tour to the end of our wedding night John and the rest of the staff were attentive, kind, and helpful in making sure that our wedding went off without a hitch. We were very lucky to be able to have our wedding outdoors since the weather cooperated with us, but their indoor option is also beautiful. We booked the complete wedding package which includes all the necessary vendors(photographer, DJ, florist, cake, transportation, and of course food/venue/staff). Having all the vendors packaged into a single payment made to the venue made our planning really easy and all the included vendors were friendly, communicative, and did GREAT work!

Our guests RAVED about the food(which was delicious) and the signature cocktails were an absolute hit! John and their staff made sure that we ate in between running around to greet our guests/make sure all the many events of the day were done. We loved that the dance floor was separate from the dining space because it really encouraged a party space with a nice little getaway to sip your cocktail/have a chat with a friend. Our guests really took advantage of the gorgeous grounds to get tons of selfies. We brought personal touches to decorate the space, but it's so gorgeous on it's own that you really don't need to do much.

As an LGTBQ couple it was important to us to find a venue that really celebrated who we are as a couple, and Coindre Hall did just that. I would HIGHLY recommend for any other couples in the gay rainbow!

Honestly at this point I'm telling anyone who's getting married to do it there so I can have a reason to go back as a guest! It was absolutely magical, a truly perfect day.

"Happily, Ever After…." was the theme our daughter envisioned for her wedding, and thanks to John and the entire team at Coindre Hall, her dream day became a reality. John Schlenke, the maître ‘d, was exceptional from our very first visit, throughout the entire planning process, and all the way through to the wedding day itself. He managed every detail flawlessly, guiding us through the entire process and making our planning experience completely stress-free. This was the only wedding venue our daughter and her fiancé considered because they knew it was the perfect place for them. It is absolutely breathtaking. Our guests can't stop talking about what a beautiful and one-of-a-kind venue it was with superb food, which was abundant, and exceptional service. The overall layout and design of the different rooms worked out perfectly, and we received compliments on the separation. We were initially concerned, but our guests truly enjoyed being able to stroll around, dance if they wanted, or have a quiet conversation in a more relaxed space. It's such a unique place, full of charm and character but it’s John and his amazing staff who make Coindre Hall the first wedding venue you should consider, hands down.

It’s very hard to put into words just how special Coindre Hall has become to my husband and I. John and the entire team there are absolutely incredible. The staff is warm and inviting, Kelly, the bridal attendant was amazing. She knew what I needed before I knew! They went above and beyond to make our special day beyond perfect.
From the first day we stepped into the gorgeous mansion, John made us feel like our day was the most important day. He put our minds at ease with every question or concern we brought to him. Simply put, John is the best.

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The grounds are gorgeous, and a fall wedding with the leaves changing made for a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. The inside is so beautiful, I barely had to add any decor. We were able to add a few touches to make it unique and special for us, but it truly didn’t need much at all.

The food is amazing!! It’s been 2 weeks since our wedding and we’re still getting calls and texts about how delicious all the food was!! The variety of foods offered are amazing. There is truly something for everyone, and they were very accommodating for our guests with special dietary needs.

One of the things I fell in love with about the Chateau at Coindre Hall is just how unique it is. Very few of our guests had ever been there for an event and everyone was blown away by the beauty and uniqueness of it. Coindre Hall is a true hidden gem on Long Island, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants their special day to be unique and feel like the most important day ever. Thank you, John, Lessings, and the entire team at Coindre for the best day ever!!
