I drive this bridge daily and have found the “best” lane (if there’s one to be named) is the passing lane on the far left both east and west bound. I remember complaining about the surface of the bridge to my mother about how uneven and rugged a drive it is. Her response “maybe they wanted to keep people awake when going over, ever think of that?”
Yet as I look at the deplorable paint job that took years to complete and looks like the bridge is constantly in the shade, I find myself wondering the validity of my mother’s thought. You see like all things done in this part of the state of Massachusetts, the lowest bidder has never done us any favors and only ever costs us more money in the long run. I long for the days when society places Quality above quantity.
So while this bridge may cross my favorite river, I give the 1 ⭐️ review. It’s sad on so many levels least of which is that it took an entire generation to see its current repairs complete.

Well, well, well. Here is the day I review a bridge. Now let me give you a story. Ok, this bridge is in Fall River Massachusetts. It connects 195 to Fall River to Somerset MA. The color is Braga blue and it has two bright REALLY BRIGHT red lights at the top. You can hear the bridge from a mile because the plates are so loud. And notice, never go in the middle lane. It is bad. The end.

.... It's a bridge! I have begun to enjoy the lights. I didn't want to admit it because... that's expensive, for some lights - and another reason to have construction going on.... but, it does give an otheriwse boring drive at night, something fun to view - 😏 - coming up on it, feels like home.

8 million dollars for led lights on a bridge. People again 8 million dollars in the meantime we have a school bus full of children fall in a pot hole,we have homeless people sleeping in tents in 20 degree weather with hundreds of empty buildings that could be converted into shelter but no. 8 million dollars for stupid lights that change color we must have that for pride day and all and don't forget 1/2 million for boat docks Fiola needs to find a real job I hear merry maids is hiring. Will this city ever, ever get a mayor or city councils that listen to the average person not the people who benefit them with favors or contributions wake up people
