What an amazing place with so much to see. It is fun to return regularly to see the changes throughout the seasons.

I highly recommend walking upstream five minutes on either trail to see Bluff Lake. In fact I’ve never had anybody that didn’t tell me that they appreciated me pointing that lake out when I ran into them again.

It's magnificent. The entire area is gorgeous. It's a short hike to get to bluff lake and a mile or so to get to a beautiful view of the valley below.

In and of itself, it’s a cool tree, but it’s no Gen. Sherman. Lots of shade and cooler than Big Bear Valley, it’s a great jumping off point for another adventures.

A worthy little hike, on a nice trail, even if the tree itself is not particularly spectacular and is somewhat obscured by a stand of trees around it. This is not a tree that you will be amazed by, but it is a nice trail to walk on.
