I've lived here a little over 4 years now, and this park has gone way downhill. It was beautiful; now it's getting to be a disaster. So many dying trees.

Please plant more trees now, because these are all dying. And invasive Camphor trees are taking over.

These parks need to be preserved...đŸŒ´đŸŒŗđŸŋī¸

Cheap and run down.

What would Spengler say?

Just home celebrating Jolabokaflod with a cup of something warm, when the anniversary is upon us of the great discovery in physics that 2.8 > 2 . And then the computational complexity of the park is before us. The park is not cosmopolitan and doesn't care about its citizens.

Do we want to count equality based on resources available to each or satisfaction that they achieve in life? There's an extreme difficulty in distinguishing between a person and the circumstances of that person. What difference does the physical environment make to realize ambitions? What is valuable in life?

What is the role of public space? One idea of a park is more than a mere sequence that exists to go outside, to stay fit, and a condition for time as something that successfully contributes to having meaningful relationships.

Why does this place make purists seethe and constrict?

There's no mystical garden here that haunts the imagination. There's no apples or orchards. No moral superiority or tantalizing delights are offered. No horses are on display or Pimm's served to ladies in colorful chiffon. The prima facie case unless the opposite is proven reveals sufficient evidence accepted as true that this account tells that there's no eden here.

How do others construe public parks? The largest civilization of city states in the world is ants. They practice agriculture and bury their dead too. They are exemplars of patriotic citizenship and serve in the military. They are a nation of trillions with strong formalized hierarchy, kinship and tribal loyalty. They concentrate on their responsibility. They are united in their geographic allegiance. Theirs is a 24 hour a day all-in job across the lifespan.

As a place supposedly for the benefit of children too, this place is notably absent them. It's insoluably antichild. No adult will brim with sensorial memory of any mental soil or sentimentality here. There will be no joyous spontaneous source of everything else that never leaves you, that was happily granted by this architecture. In so far as it's not a place of any pure dazzle and anticipation, time is not defeated by any goodness provided here. No children playing sardines here.

Life was once a face-to-face community where people greeted one another by the dozen. Not now. I wish I knew somebody among the people I see who are old, selfish, demand free government dialysis, garnered no particular education, and go to church poorly dressed. Today the region is a nondescript edge suburb sprawl along tertiary freeways with no city center, no pride of place, and insane non-walkability.

Travel that's inclusive of seasonal elements of nature stimulates the soul to derive meaning. People go to Japan, for instance, for the visual delight of the inflorescence of the cherry blossoms. Botanica matter. But they don't go to Citrus County for much of anything in the natural world, as far as we can say. Architects admits that ugly buildings are to demoralise, in line with communist plans.

Under the management of a quango in Citrus County deciding what is good for the people, the pool is closed. Underwater smoking is strictly prohibited by Florida State law. An unkindness of raven overhead is commonplace.

Activities offered include tennis.
Active-lifestyle retirees show off, all smiles, as seen on TV laxative ads.
A carnival of trees overhead but underneath begging for beautification. Broken pavement isn't all it's cracked up to be. By 2023, we see no more dope deals in the parking lot by tennis courts.

If you're a young fellow looking to go up with a cute fox trotting usherette with new batteries in her torch, forget about it here. She would have been eaten alive by mosquitoes before your blood-sucking arrival to anesthetize and syringe her. By my calculator this place is a draw. There's no dehydrated conflict or sexy knickers to resolve. Fueled by determination and whatever else I ate for brunch--probably beans on soggy toast--my yorkshires don't rise in this oven. There's simply no attraction here.

Nice, small, well maintained park. Good place to relax and just enjoy Central Florida. Small pond improves the view, birds come and visit quite frequently. Infrastructure is great, facilities, restaurants, shopping nearby.

There are a lot of ibis, and also cool swirly shells along the water. If you like shells, bring a plastic bag! Watch out for gators!

Some early mornings you can catch the local tennis crowd playing a having fun. Very nice park to walk through, go fishing but stay out of the lake unless you plan to be gator bait. Seen a few gators waiting on a unexpected victim. Stay safe, enjoy the surroundings.
