We had an incredible day with Captain Colby! He was knowledgeable, and very competent in making sure we caught our limit and followed Alaska Game and Fish protocol at all times. Delightful sense of humor!!! He even filleted our catch while we watched at the end of the adventure! Highly recommend this trip and Captain Colby!

The water was choppy but we had a blast and caught some nice fish. I called the office the day before our trip with a few questions and they were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Our captain was great and a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend them.

We absolutely recommend the half day fishing charter on the Bella Vista. We left around 0630 and got back around noon. We found this to be the perfect amount of time for fishing novices like us. Our morning felt like the ultimate adventure to include catching the max halibut per person, a few other fish and seeing otters and whales while out in the Kachemak bay! We were so lucky for the warm sunny weather but nonetheless we whole heartedly know that Central Charters is what made the experience memorable. Thanks!!

We had a fabulous day of fishing! The captain and crew were professional, informative and service oriented. We had a group of seven of us... We each limited out on halibut and rock fish. What a great day! The captain even took some time on the way back to the dock whale watching... We got some great photos of the whales. Very accommodating... Very good! Beautiful scenery too!

Our captain Colby was awesome! Did awesome through rough water and was always on top of keeping our lines baited and in the water. He stopped the boat for us to watch some orcas and was always accommodating to us. He was very personable and provided us with an excellent experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun experience!

Communication was very limited and the charter failed to call us before our trip to say that it had been changed from the multi species trip to just halibut (we totally understand that weather can be a factor) however, it would have been nice to have a heads up. Of the $1,022 trip, they refunded us $56 for the trip change which didn't seem like an accurate compensation. The captain was also not personable, he never even introduced himself or gave any background information. Our trip was several hours shorter than the 8-10 hours we had planned/paid for. Happy to have caught some fish, but could have been a better experience.
