I cannot recommend Cause We Can and specifically, Jess Pancake, enough! Throughout the planning process, Jess was knowledgeable, empathetic, and organized. While we primarily hired her for day-of coordination, she was an incredible sounding board to have access to whenever ad hoc questions or concerns popped up.

Where Jess and her team really excelled, though, was on event production and execution. We ended up having to change a lot of our plans the week of the wedding thanks to an inbound hurricane, and Jess quickly helped us develop up a back up plan all while keeping my anxieties at bay. On top of that, our 40ft x 80ft tent partially collapsed the night before our wedding, delaying day-of set up by several hours. Despite that and the sweltering heat, Cause We Can set up the most beautiful event in record time and everything went off without a hitch. The best part is, I had no idea the tent had even collapsed. For something that big to happen and me not be aware is a pretty enormous feat.

My husband and I are so so grateful for Jess and Cause We Can and highly recommend them for any event or wedding!

Jessica Pancake from Cause We Can Events went ABOVE and BEYOND for my wife and me for our wedding. From the start, Jess was highly communicative, professional, kind, and respectful. Our wedding was somewhat non-traditional, held on an island 6 miles offshore with a reception afterwards at the Boothbay Harbor Shipyard, and Jess navigated every challenge with ease. Her ability to work incredibly well on the fly and pivot with changes on the day, due to weather, transport schedules, family etc., was nothing short of amazing. Jess truly made our wedding day seamless and stress-free, and we couldn’t have asked for a better planner. She is someone we both have truly enjoyed working with, and we cannot recommend her enough for anyone with any worldwide destination or local Maine/New England wedding needs. She added a lot of value through her local knowledge and connections in the smoky mountains, and made sure that everything was beautiful and flawless. Gabby and her team were absolutely incredible and we were so thankful to have them for the wedding day and the months leading up to it. We hired them for the month of wedding package and ever since the get go Gabby was extremely organized and had open lines of communication- coordinating with all of our vendors. It helped tremendously to have her checking in along the way. When it came to the wedding weekend their event coordinating was seamless. They were timely without causing stress, kept all of our vendors on schedule, and helped with any of our needs for our entire bridal party. They were seriously the BEST! Cannot stress that enough. What would we have done without Gabby I'm a wedding photographer and my now husband is an architect so we had some very specific ideas of what we wanted for our wedding and none of them were traditional. We knew we needed a wedding planner who could handle the challenge. I've known Gabby for years and her organized-OCD-yet-yogi-calm-cheery attitude was exactly the vibe we needed for our wedding weekend so choosing her as our wedding planner was a no-brainer.

We planned a three-day music festival style, glamping wedding out in the middle of the desert in Moab, Utah with 3 bands, 2 DJs, a coffee truck, a breakfast burrito truck, catering for 3 full dinners, a silent disco, laser tag, national park adventures, two yoga classes, a snack tent and of course multiple photoshoots throughout the weekend. We definitely put Gabby through the ringer with our over the top ideas and she handled it all like a champ.

Gabby helped us throughout the year long planning process with communicating with vendors across 3 states. She helped create endless dreamcatchers, table runners, and helped us through multiple strategic planning sessions. But she really proved her value during the last month of the wedding when she and her team took over vendor communications entirely at my request so that I could enjoy the process a little more. They helped us transport all of our collected décor from Los Angeles to Utah and lead the setup at the venue which was a monumental task to say the least.

A couple of hours before our guests started arriving at the camp, Gabby sent me away to shower and get ready and by the time I came out to party the entire setup was complete and PERFECT! The whole weekend went off without a hitch (not something I see very often in the wedding industry!) Gabby spent all three days making sure the ice was fresh, the snack tent was stocked, all of the vendors knew where to be and when to begin, she seamlessly shifted our timeline as needed without bringing the stress to my fiancé and I and so many other big and small tasks that if I started listing them would barely make a dent on the impact she and her team had. Everything was absolutely perfect but beyond the wedding planning aspect one of the most important things was that she kept her cool the entire time. Not once did she add stress to a situation, she had a continuous happy vibe the whole time which added to the experience in ways you can't even imagine! Trust me, this personality trait in your wedding planner is HUGE if you want to avoid as much stress as possible around your wedding day.
