Showed up on time, had a great instructional intro. We were given a lot of opportunity for questions. We were coached on how to drive the boat too. We set off from the dock and started the tour immediately. It was great, each boat had their own radio to listen to the guides and ask questions. It was a beautiful time and we had a blast. We already started to talk about wanting to do it again.

We absolutely loved our experience! My mom and I were looking for something fun to do and booked a boat ride last minute. The guides were extremely welcoming and friendly. Took the time to get to know everyone before the ride and were knowledgeable beyond compare. We definitely 10/10 recommend and we’ll be going again soon!

Me and my husband went last Saturday. It was part of my Valentines present for him,. We had such a blast. Grace and Travar (forgive me if misspelled) were awesome guides. Very personable and made me feel comfortable. The catboat ride was so much fun! It was a great way to go out on the lake. I highly recommend this one of a kind experience.

My boyfriend and I did this boat tour last year while on vacation to Florida and absolutely loved it! I brought my whole family back this year to do the tour and they said it was the best part of their trip. Definitely recommend this activity if you're in the Orlando/Clermont area. Nate and Grace were great and were able to accommodate us when we needed some special adjustments to the tour. Cannot recommend this company/activity enough!!

If you’re ever in the general Orlando FL area, I urge you to check into Catboat Clermont, for a fun 2 hours on Lake Louisa and the adjoining Clermont chain of lakes. These 2 seat catamaran boats are great for exploring the channels connecting the lakes on a tour led by capable and informative guides. These tours have all boats connected with walkie talkies to the guide boat. And you undergo a short safety training session before embarking on your tour. This size boat is great for nautical novices who’d like to get their feet wet in the boating world. These tour groups follow the guide boats but there is a stop at one of the lakes where you can tear around to your hearts content in the, new for 2025, boats that can reach speeds of approximately 35 mph. Or if you prefer, you can leisurely explore the shoreline for 15 minutes. (We chose the former!)
Our guides were very professional but friendly. The whole process was well run and we had no worries as far as not being in capable hands. Nice restrooms are available dockside and a couple of bottles of water are provided for your excursion. There is also a bar and there was a foodtruck dockside too! Just be prepared for the Florida sunshine. Have fun!
P. S. They can do tours in cooler weather as the catboats have heated seats and they have parkas available.

My husband bought this as an anniversary gift, for our 26th. It could not have been a better experience! It was a stunningly beautiful activity with an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. Grace was BEYOND wonderful - she kept things super entertaining AND educational, which was fun. Nate met us when we got back to the docks and took the time to ensure that we truly did enjoy every second of our time on the Clermont Chain of Lakes. Words don't/can't do this justice, you have to live it to understand how phenomenal it really is. LOVED IT!!!! ❤️

A great self drive experience. Boats are great and the guide was excellent.
We spent 2 weeks in Florida and wanted to do non-theme park things and this was a great trip. Would definitely recommend.
