We had the most wonderful morning with Captain Shake. He took care of everything! He provides the reels, rods, and even baits the hooks. We caught a good number of fish and enjoyed every moment of the trip. I would highly recommend the close to shore trip for couples and families.

We had an amazing experience with Captain Shake and would highly recommend him especially if you have kids. He was incredibly patient, kind and engaging with our two boys, 7 and 13, and even captured them reeling in their catches on his GoPro, which he later turned into videos for us.

Captain Shake is very knowledgeable about the ocean ecosystem and is great at explaining how it works. For example, he found patches of Sargasso seaweed and showed us all the different forms of sea life that inhabit it. It was fascinating!

And you will catch fish! We pulled in more than 40 fish across multiple species and had enough 'keepers' for two full (and delicious) dinners.

Cannot recommend Captain Shake enough! What a memorable experience - one we will remember forever. From the ease of booking to the fish you get to take home for dinner - everything was perfection. It was my five year old sons first fishing trip and Captain Shake was absolutely amazing - so patient and kind. He went out of his way to show him things out on the water & taught him all about the fish we were catching. We hit several hot spots and starting catching fish the moment we dropped our lines in. Captain also puts together a little video from your time on the boat which is such a nice extra. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience - highly recommend, especially if you have kids. We can't wait to go out with Captain Shake again!

Captain Shake is awesome! Best charter I have been out on. From the start he talked you through the process and made sure he was going to give you the experience you were looking for and does not cut any corners. Captain Shake wants to get you on fish and will try different things to make it a great trip. If you want a captain you can rely on to give you a good time and get on some fish book with Captain Shake. Can’t wait for my next trip!

We had family over from England for spring break and decided to book a fishing trip with Captain Shake.
The whole experience was above and beyond our expectations, from the ease of booking, to the great day of fishing and taking home our catch for dinner.
We had varying degrees of fishing experience in our group and Captain Shake made everyone feel at ease and provided unique local knowledge that had us hooking fishing from the very first cast.
As with most fishing we were left thinking about the one that got away and the whopper that my son was unable to land, both fish and child put up a great fight.
Already planning on booking another trip for my son’s birthday!

Captain Shake is absolutely amazing!!! I was looking for an educational charter experience for my son, one that was hands on both in reeling in fish as well as learning how to fish the waters in terms of technique, bait used, etc. Captain Shake far exceeded my expectations. He is personal, VERY experienced in fishing, and always provides a memorable experience. We have booked multiple charters with him and would not go anywhere else. He is top notch!
