Great location if you want to explore the cape! No detail is overlooked at The Captain Farris House and breakfast each morning is chef’s kiss!

The grounds are so beautiful that we returned to elope there this year. Their elopement package was hands down the best! We had a beautiful cake and flowers, an amazing photographer and the JP helped us write our vows. We will return for a 3rd trip to celebrate our anniversary. (We stayed in Bray’s Retreat both times.)

Carol and Jeff are wonderful hosts…friendly, great recommendations, and just good people!

My friend and I stayed here for 5 days a couple weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. It was such a cute and quaint place. Carol and Jeff and the rest of the staff were so sweet!! We had to check in quite late due to travel accommodations and delays, and the Carol sent detailed texts/videos on how to check in and access our room. The breakfast everyday was lovely and really made our stay even more enjoyable. Loved everything about it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place that is homier than just a regular hotel.

Carol and Jeff are extremely welcoming hosts. The moment I called to inquire about a room Carol was concerned about what type of room would be the best for our stay. We are currently staying with them and made us feel like family. Our first breakfast was delicious, Brian was our server and was very attentive. Our room was very clean and spacious. The king size bed is fantastic and my wife and I slept very well. We are definitely planning on coming back in 2025.

Where do I begin? Our stay at Captain Farris House was exceptional! My husband and I stayed in the Davis Room for four nights which looked exactly like the pictures on their website. Each morning, the breakfasts were amazing and different, alternating between sweet and savory each day. We also enjoyed the freshly baked snacks available all day and the evening cordials in the sitting room. There is always coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available at anytime as well as a water cooler in the kitchen. The highlight of our stay was soaking in the jet tub which I looked forward to after a day of activities. I wish I could keep this B&B as my little secret, but I can't. The house itself is beautiful as well as the grounds. This is a perfect location if you just want to relax and hear the birds chirping in the morning and crickets at night without the hustle and bustle. Carol and Jeff are gracious hosts. Carol gave us many recommendations for food and actives and even gave us beach chairs and towels to see the sunset, although we didn't get a chance to go. It was our first time in Cape Cod and we will surely be back and choose CFH as our B&B. We were so relaxed, and there were days I didn't want to get out of bed because of how comfortable the mattress and sheets felt. Thank you so much Carol and Jeff for having us at your place. I hope we see you again next year.

Our stay at the Captain Farris House was outstanding !!! You will find no better hosts than Jeff and Carol. The home was beautiful, and the breakfast was fantastic. This is such a wonderful place to stay. It was our first time, but most certainly will not be our last !!!

CFH was so welcoming and accommodating. They serve an included breakfast from a specific time period each morning but my boyfriend and I were travelling to Nantucket really early one day. They offered to make us a to-go breakfast which was waiting for us before we left. Just amazing. They have fresh baked goods that are different each night and so delicious. Also a coffee, tea and hot cocoa bar that’s open all the time. Our room had a rain shower and a jacuzzi tub, stocked with shampoo, conditioners, and body wash. They also have a ton DVDs to choose from which was such a lovely, nostalgic touch. We will definitely be back. We loved it!!

This is a lovely bed and breakfast run by a lovely couple who could not be more friendly and helpful. We had an apartment that was more than large enough for our needs. The breakfasts were delightful and whilst the menu was set the hosts were more than happy to accommodate any specific requirements. The only reason I haven’t given it five stars is the housekeeping didn’t replenish each day items like coffee pods, bubble bath etc. We’d happily recommend friends to stay here if they were visiting Cape Cod.

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend at Captain Farris House! Carol was so kind as to change the breakfast menu to accommodate my somewhat unusual dietary restrictions during our stay. I am so appreciative, and everything was delicious! The house is beautiful and welcoming — the little touches like daily baked cookies and fresh flowers really made the experience unforgettable.
