Great place for a nature walk, hike or bike ride. Beautiful views to the Arkansas River and with lots of trails to choose from. It’s very hilly, so be prepared to walk up or down. There is a lonely feel to this place. And though I felt relatively safe on my morning hike, it would be best to visit with a trusted friend. I would advise to not go after dark alone. It has a bad reputation among locals.

Sadly, I cannot give this park any stars in its present condition. Do not consider bringing your children or your pets to this park. You will come across items like drug pipes, condom wrappers, and and all sorts of trash. People using this park apparently do not care about the natural surroundings or scenic beauty. The army corp of engineers is listed as the responsible entity on the incoming sign; however, no one appears to be doing anything to keep up the park, making it a safe place.

Beautiful lookout. We enjoyed the walking trails! There was plenty of picnic tables and it seemed well kept. First time visiting. Will be back!

We LOVE this park. The old Blockhouse is very interesting and has historical signs, with a great view of the river. Great for pictures. There are many walking and biking trails as well as picnic areas and a Pavillion.

So absolutely thankful I discovered this little gem! I love it. From the very first glimpse I knew it was a truly beautiful place. It is the perfect hike for a family with beautiful views to see. I love the bridge along the trail and the cemetery. It is part of the Trail Of Tears just right outside of conway, Ar.
Its a must stop kind of place!

As someone who was visiting Cadron Settlement Park for the first time, I cannot wait easily say that this place is a hidden gem in the United States. This gorgeous land and terrain is not only beautiful but carries a deep and powerful historical importance. I only had the opportunity to hike with my family but I am looking forward to experiencing it with my mountain bike. Also, everyone we encountered on the trail were friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better (if that’s even possible.

Perfect outdoor wedding spot!! Affordable and adorable. See the photos for yourself! I photographed a wedding here last Saturday and wow! Absolutely gorgeous.
When traveling to the park be sure to put in the name of the park rather than an address. The address won’t get you there.
