We had the most lovely late afternoon doing the two hour sunset sail with Captain Steve on the sailboat Hamlet. It was just my husband and me and we brought our snacks and a bottle of wine and were able to enjoy the beautiful views and very pleasant conversation with Steve. He also gave us the opportunity to actually work the boat with him. My husband ended up actually steering the boat as Steve and rigged the sails and I had a chance to man the winch. It was so peaceful on the water and the most perfect sunset. A great evening for a couple or a small group of friends.

Steve was also incredibly easy to work with when we had concerns about weather and keeping us updated on the latest and the plans. He was incredibly responsive over email and generally very pleasant to work with.

What a beautiful night for a sail and Captain Steve was so personable and easy. He was very engaging with our kids and offered us mini lessons on sailing and how the boat worked. It was a light winds night but perfect for just sitting back and enjoying the views. Highly recommend

Great evening sail on Hamlet! The views were beautiful, with gorgeous Cape Cod mansions off the port side after we passed a small lighthouse at the mouth of the harbor. Couldn't have asked for a better night - even with gusty winds up to 20 knots, the boat handled it beautifully.

Captain Steve was really great at teaching us both, with one of us a total novice and one more familiar with much smaller boats. We'll definitely book another charter soon!

This was a truly lovely experience. We went out with Steve and Richie for a 2 hour sail to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything from start was easy and seamless. Steve was very responsive and provided us great directions the morning of, including the location, where to park, how to get from the dock to the boat. Both, Steve and Richie were attentive but even more so informative. They entertained all our novice questions about sailing and just general waterway questions. Even being very local to the area, we learned interesting things (plus got some good restaurant reviews!). The boat was clean and comfortable and safety was at the forefront. For anyone looking to enjoy the water either from your backyard or while visiting the area, I would highly recommend spending the afternoon with Buzzards Bay Yacht Charters! We will definately keep this on our list of things to do again.

I chartered a trip with Captain Steve because my late Aunt Pat's final wish was to have her ashes scattered in the waters of Buzzard Bay. Although she lived in Denver for nearly 50 years, she always remembered the Fairhaven she grew up in. We couldn't have asked better for lovelier weather, and Steve found a nice quiet cove where we could drop anchor and scatter her ashes, while my brothers and I and a sister-in-law could spend time reminiscing about our late aunt. Had an extremely pleasant morning sail with captain Steve. Although it was overcast and calm on shore, he magically found the wind and took us on a relaxing ride. Fun time!
