Frontier Dentistry hired Bumblebee Occasions to cater our meet and greet to welcome our new dentist. Sharon was a pleasure to work with. The presentation of finger foods and drinks were displayed beautifully.

Honestly , I was hesitant, but after seeing similar reviews , I don’t want anyone to get into a position. I was recommended by so many people and so excited to work with these guys. Till it took me over two weeks of reaching out to plan my wedding , and hearing absolutely no response but one time , on a phone call. She answered my call and said “this is Samantha or whatever , we’re busy and we’ll call you tomorrow “
Okay, fine, yet another week goes by and calls are being rejected and nobody reaches out. Very annoying and disappointing considering you people play out to be an amazing service provider.
I’m glad I figured this out before moving forward with them. And honestly , I probably still won’t receive a call. Do better as a business.

Sharon, I've seen you post on reviews that they have the wrong company. That's not true. It's you. It's Bumblebee Occasions. People need to know that you seem to run a complete racket, hoping busy and stressed couples don't notice you literally making unauthorized draws from their bank accounts outside of contracted schedule. (And still taking the scheduled ones). The second part of the possible racket is hoping those same busy and stressed couples don't realize that the only REAL and LEGITIMATE part of your wedding services is that your husband is actually a cook and you DID in fact bring food to our wedding. We paid $8,000 for food and plates because you provided ZERO coordination for our wedding like we paid you for. My wife even chose to come pick up linens because you couldn't get the info correct about what we wanted. You tried to take $1,100 from us 3 different times outside of our payment schedule, one time causing us to take up a fraud claim with our bank, and then you tried to make us pay $950 days before the wedding for "final services" when we had 100% paid our contract out in full the month before.
You should be shut down and investigated for full on fraud and theft. Anyone reading, please read more comments below. More than one reviewer has mentioned unauthorized withdrawals. We were told it was "clerical error" due the changing accounting software. But this many times Sharon? No, you are a thief. Bumblebee Occasions is not a wedding service, it's a half rate caterer at best, and at worst it's a complete racket where the owner pockets your money and hopes you don't notice. Don't be fooled.

Bumble Bee Occasions helped make our special day the BEST! My husband and I utilized their catering services for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception and we also took advantage of the day of wedding coordinator. The food was all homemade in house, delicious, and they catered to our somewhat picky needs. 🙂 I really don't know what I would have done without Megan who was our day of wedding coordinator. She was so organized and thorough with every little detail leading up to the big day so needless to say the day went smooth as silk. She had the plan down and helped us with the perfect little ceremony details and made sure we threw one heck of a party for all of our loved ones. I highly recommend these guys, not only for the food, but the over all customer service you are guaranteed to receive.

I cannot stress enough how terrible our experience with Bumblebee Occasions and its owner, Sharon, has been. My husband and I trusted them to help plan our wedding (which was October 2023), but it turned out to be one of the worst decisions we ever made.

Sharon took our money upfront for services we never received. We hired her to do foral, catering, linens, decor, day-of-coordination, & cake and desserts. After the initial consultation (which she told us is free) and tasting, she disappeared. I never felt comfortable after leaving one single meeting with her. There was always stress on my mind. One month before our wedding, she abruptly cancelled everything and even went as far as contacting our vendors to tell them she had cancelled as well. This left us in an incredibly stressful situation with nothing in place for our big day.

When we tried to reach out for a refund, Sharon argued and claimed we owed her for additional "services" like phone calls and emails. Most of these so-called services were actually because she had taken money from our account without authorization, causing overdrafts and immense stress. Mind you we were on a payment plan.

We spent months going back and forth with her, only to receive endless excuses and no resolution. It’s been a year now of trying to get some sort of refund and still nothing. Sharon's unprofessionalism and unethical behavior are beyond belief. Save yourself the headache and avoid Bumblebee Occasions at all costs. This company is a nightmare, and Sharon is a fraud.

Bumble Bee Occasions stole our money! I did not want to write this review. I gave the owner, Sharon, two months since my wedding to make things right but she has avoided addressing my concerns. My husband and I hired them to do our floral, our catering, and our event planning/management for our wedding. We paid nearly $18K to them. Throughout our planning process, she was MIA. Our contract stated she would check-in monthly at minimum (which didn’t happen). The week of my wedding, she gave me zero check-ins/updates on how things were coming along. Mind you—I ended up doing 98% of the planning all myself. I reached out to all my vendors myself to schedule meetings. This was in our contract stated that she would handle. Which didn’t happen.
The actual day of the wedding—she was so scattered. I didn’t hear from her until late afternoon. I get to our venue and she is no where to be found. While we waited for the ceremony to start—my maid of honor noticed that our table settings were not done. My bridesmaids ended up RUNNING around to set all this up 15 minutes before our ceremony. There was no burden lifted off of me and my family on this day which is why I hired BBO in the first place.
Now on to floral. I told Sharon on our very first phone call how important this was to me. We had a whole meeting about what I envisioned. My bouquet was literally falling apart. My MOH’s bouquet was dead. The corsages that my family wore also had brown edges all around it. Clearly these florals were not fresh or preserved properly which was SO disappointing. Our pergola floral was supposed to be repurposed throughout our reception. It was not in all the places we discussed. Our memorial table had nothing on it. Our sweetheart backdrop also had NO floral on it. We had 3 family tables that had empty vases because BBO forgot to repurpose the bouquets that were meant to be in those vases. This was a huge disappointment to me.
Last but not least—catering. Sharon’s husband Jerry is the main chef. We had a tasting with him which we were very impressed by. But, we had several guests tell us that their food was served cold. We were supposed to be served salads with cranberries, feta cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette. Instead we were served plain lettuce with some kind of dressing. We also paid EXTRA for our guests to have sweet/unsweetened tea served. Legit spent hundreds of extra dollars to have this “upgraded option” and we did not even get what we paid for! We also paid for a dessert bar which had missing items. Not only that but our cutting cake wasn’t the flavor we picked out.
Believe it or not, this isn’t even all the issues we had with BBO and Sharon. I am appalled at how little regard she has given to our concerns. We reached out to her several times to get a response and she has avoided me at all costs. She has given me excuse after excuse. “I’ve been busy with our current brides/grooms.” “I will get back to you by Sunday at the latest.” We were put on the back burner SO many times throughout our time working with her. I gave her a lot of time and grace with this but I’ve had enough. If she tries to respond saying she tried to talk to me about any of this, just know she is lying.
I am not the type of person to go out of my way to write someone a bad review. I am just genuinely wanting other brides/grooms to have a better understanding of what you might have to deal with if you hire BBO. Our wedding day would have been perfect otherwise.

Sharon and her team at Bumble Bee occasions were AMAZING!
I used them for floral, catering (I had breakfast for dinner) and coordination and I'm so glad I did! All of my bouquets were gorgeous, my guests LOVED the food, especially the biscuits and sausage gravy, and my wedding day was pretty much stress free all thanks to Nancy! I was planning for an outside ceremony and cocktail hour but unfortunately it ended up raining on my wedding day and Nancy & her team worked so hard to make sure the inside set up was beautiful. The whole day went smoothly and was perfect!

Our wedding planner rarely responded to our emails, and come the day of our wedding, the planner who showed up wasn't even the person we spoke to. The planner didn't even know who the groom was and tried to send the wrong person down the wedding procession and had no idea who had, or should have, the wedding rings. We also ordered our flowers through BumbleBee and paid an extra $40 for a protea centerpiece for the bouquet only to be given an ARTIFICIAL protea in the bouquet with no warning or refund. After the wedding our complaints were entirely ignored and no communication was received on our end.
