Had to have the manager show me how to get the key to unlock the door because it wouldn't do it without jiggling the door while you're trying to unlock it at the same time, AC was awful, beds were awful... Pillows were flat as a pancake... The beds were extremely uncomfortable!! Five of us stayed there in different rooms nobody had a good experience!! Definitely will not go back

This motel had everything we needed, was clean and felt safe. The man at the front desk was very courteous and genuinely seemed to appreciate our business.

We were coming home from a ski trip to Colorado and were driving back home to the Texas Coast. We called the Budget Inn when we were about an hour north and the owner answered the phone, gave me a lower price than the other motel down the street, and allowed our dog for a small charge.

Check in went smoothly and we got to park our vehicle right by our room in a well-lit spot.

The room was clean and basic with tile floors and a large window. The king size bed was firm but comfortable. The room came with a tall mini fridge with small freezer, coffee maker, microwave, 2 end tables, a desk, 2 chairs, a dresser, TV, mirror and closet.

The water was hot. The shower knob was mounted crooked but still functional. Clean towels and sheets.

Since this motel is located right on the main highway running thru Post, I could hear the traffic but went right to sleep anyway. A light sleeper might consider earplugs.

Location: I intentionally chose a smaller town like Post to stop overnight in because larger towns tend to have more drugs and drifters. The police here are pretty strict from what I've heard. Although there is a low-income neighborhood right behind the motel, it seemed safe to walk the dog and we didn't see anything sketchy going on.

It's an older motel but clean. We were allowed to check for bed bugs before paying for the room, and they were clean, no bugs.
We had a puppy with us who also enjoyed the room. She was busy looking for a doggie door, haha.

It was late and I stopped here for the night. The gentleman who checked me in was kind and courteous. The room clean and bed comfy for a reasonable price.

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a room. Very clean, refrigerator microwave etc. But the best part was the TV. They have just about every channel 😀
I could lay here all day. Lol. And there's a good Greek restaurant next 🚪. And there's truck 🚚 parking in the back.

I have family in the area. we had a two bed and a single bed room for the night. Over all pretty impressed the beds were very comfortable. Clean and nice looking. One of our rooms the ac unit did not work as well as it should have also the ice maker machine room needs some real work. Once again impressed for the most part. I would definitely stay again.

The front desk lady didn't speak very good English but her daughter was there to help out. The price is very reasonable and the room far better than expected. Completely remodeled and updated. Granite counter tops, spotlessly clean, huge work station desk, free wifi, beautifully done interiors and comfortable bed. More than I would have ever expected from the exterior looks and a great value.

First off this was the cleanest room I have stayed in for a long time and considering the price is was spotless. This is an old Motor Motel that has been remodeled. One of the better jobs I've seen. Not somewhere I would spend my vacation but a great place to spend the night and get a good nights sleep. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were nice too. We checked in at around 1:00 a.am and the Woman was helpful and friendly.
