This is a nice spot for a small hike. There is only parking for about 5 vehicles and no facilities. The trail is very clear and easy. Two people can walk side by side the entire time. It says no dogs but almost everyone else there had one. We saw a bunch of water lilies which might look awesome in bloom.

Beautiful quiet place. The map isnt quite clear (in my opinion) but just go all the way straight from the parking lot. You will find a fork.
If you turn left, I found it to be a dead end so I returned to the fork and went on the other path.
That path goes all the way down straight and you find intersecting paths.
I continued straight until I passed a ditch and reached a fench. Before the fence I saw a 4ft rattlesnake right on the trail last week. It looked like a dead branch until its skin glittered in the sun. I just went around it. Be careful!

What a nice place to take a walk. There were 2 different loops you can take. We got to see some birds, which was nice! There were no bathrooms, dog waste receptacles, or decent parking. But overall, we enjoyed our time.

UPDATE: In the past it was impossible to get here but recently improvements have been made. A nice parking lot has been added with space for 3-5 cars, including handicap parking .
The now easily accessible trails are well kept and clearly marked with blue blazers. The scenery is beautiful with pine trees and wildflowers guiding your way. It's a great place to take your family for an early morning walk or an evening stroll.

Perfect place to experience what this area looked like prior to mass suburbanization and beltways. This mostly quiet woodland area is excellent for short to moderate walks. The vast majority of the property is dry and there are many locations in which to put a blanket on the ground for a relatively secluded picnic or hang a hammock. The property abuts to an active airfield and there were a few flights the day we visited but it was calm and quiet most of the time.
