This was a great way to get around town for a single price and learn all about the city. Some of our guides were really funny and even incorporated music with their history lessons. This definitely came in handy when the rain came pouring down. I personally enjoyed one of guides in particular that explained the architecture of the buildings and their history.

My husband and I really enjoyed this bus ride. Our tour guide Miss Jackson was amazing!! She was funny, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the city she obviously LOVES Boston!! She did a fantastic job driving our huge bus through grid lock traffic with a smile on her face the entire time. If you decide to do this I really hope you get Miss Jackson big I’m sure the other drivers are just as great!!

A great way of seeing the city if you have never been before. The drivers give you loads of history with great humour. You can literally get on and off as many times as you like during the day. I highly recommend.

I have been on many of these tours across the country, Savannah being my favorite. This however was nothing like the others. They overbooked the tours so you had to wait forever to get another one. We had one driver get off and start selling tickets. Another Lurch was just annoying with his political jokes. They also never tell you in which direction to head or where to get back on. I had an 80 y.o. man with me and this was unacceptable Sorry, NEVER AGAIN, Oh and the price was OUTRAGEOUS for what we got. We were afraid to get off at 3:45 simply for fear of not getting another ride back to the hotel by 5 as that's the last boarding time. Get your tickets from Groupon!

I've done Old Town Trolleys in several cities, but today was my first time in Boston and it was just as great as all the others. My driver Tristan was great. Like all of my Old Town Trolley experiences ride was filled with great historical facts and funny and interesting anecdotes about the city. Had a wonderful lifelong Bostonian woman,Pearl, who does the trolley tours multiple times a week, adding her own bits of wisdom and history. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend Old Town Trolleys here, or any of their 9 locations.

Dont waste your money!
Terrible. Waited 40 minutes for the first trolley and it was only a shuttle to the main trolley. Waited 30 minutes for the main trollley.
Also, how can you run this business and NOT install a tracking system or phone friendly website/map. Just terrible. Way over priced. Would never do it again knowing what I know now.
Not to mention, the driver is the tour guide. I feel like this is a safety issue. The driver should not be distracted rattling off information. I’m not an expert, but I would think this is not kosher with regulations.

Informative tours, with nice clean buses. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and never waited too long to get on a Trolley.

The only issue I have is the Trollies do get more expensive as the day goes through. We went on at 12 pm and it was 10$ more than what the website said. So good side you'll always get a sit, but it's pretty high price. When we went on there was a ton of room so it didn't seem necessary, especially with how many trolleys they had running. So if you want the cheapest price possible go early.

But we were only in Boston for a day and it was definitely worth doing, to get a nice view of the city and some information about the place quickly.

This was such a fun experience! The driver recited lots of history and eas very funny. You can hop on and off whenever you like. Our driver was "Townie" and he was absolutely amazing! The photos are all from the bus! I would recommend riding all the way through and then deciding what stops you want to get off at. The busses run constantly.
