I asked the girl if she could make milkshakes out of any of the Hershey ice cream flavors listed on the board, she said yes. My son ordered a chocolate milkshake. We get it and it's runny, has tons of ice and tastes like watered down chocolate milk icee. So I ask her is this chocolate ice cream and she says "yeah, it's soft serve"... which anyone can get at McDonald's l, so I said oh, no I wanted the ice cream she says, "it is ice cream" And I said no that Ice cream and pointed at the Hershey I had said i wanted right from the start. She was like oh sorry and just dismissed me. My son wanted the ice cream milkshake so I order another one and tell her to use the ice cream I'd originally asked for and she charges me for another milkshake when I literally threw the full other one in the garbage. What kind of place doesn't just remake it at no charge like the customer originally ordered it? What a waste of money and poor customer service. Also tons of ice bits in a milkshake is gross, get a better blender or don't use ice use ice cream and milk so the shake is thick and creamy not icy and watery.

The atmosphere was calm this evening. There were a few "older" groups of ladies there enjoying their sweet treats.
Me,My mother & my 3 daughters stopped by on our way home to grab some ice cream.
There was one girl working, but she was fast and efficient enough for my 2 (very impatient) toddlers. She was kind and let me try a sample of their new Marshmallow ice cream-10/10. I decided on that flavor, on a waffle cone. My mom got her norm, I call it almond joys take on ice cream. We also got, little Blue panda, chocolate chip, superman and praline pecan.
All flavors were fresh and delicious.

Vonore is my (little) home town. If you blink, you'll miss it.
So I like to support our local businesses and watch them grow.
If your in the area, stop by and give them a try! I promise, You'll be glad ya did!

If headed south on 411 they're on your left,less than a quarter mile before the red light at hwy 72. If headed north on 411,After you pass McDonald's and the gas station, start looking for them on your right.

I am so very blessed to still have my parents living at 84 ( mom ) and 87 ( dad ) to go out to eat for my sisters birthday. On our way back to Vonore, we finally stopped by Bootleggers Roadside Ice-cream stand. We were so excited 😆 at the massive amount of choices that they offer. My favorite is peanut butter 🥜 milkshakes, but my wife is a vanilla and chocolate cone girl. They have so many special concoctions that I can't wait to try. They have some very nice outdoor tables. The young girls working there are so very nice and friendly 😊. We can't wait for our next visit.

If Ice Cream is food this place is a 10- Awesome! So many choices, so little time! Outside side patio along a highway so atmosphere gets a 4. Try a new flavor everytime or be like my hubby and like something so much you order the same thing everytime! Definitely Go here!
