Some beautiful scenery and easy to walk on mostly paved trails. We really appreciated the tree canopy for the majority of it. The park was also very convenient to access from two separate points at opposite ends. It even had a port-a-potty in the central portion of the Sanctuary in addition to the permanent restroom facilities located in one of the parking lots. Unfortunately, one of the bridges is impassable and parts of the trail were in disarray and littered with debris. Overall, however, an enjoyable walk and well worth the trip.

Beautiful area to walk and enjoy nature, super close to the interstate but once you’re deep into the woods the traffic noise is less. Has restrooms and is dog friendly!

So gorgeous! It's a must. A beautiful wildlife sanctuary with a large visitor center (you can get a state park stamp if you're nerdy like that!). Scenic walk, beautiful views, good people, large play ground. Lots of trees to create shade, and there's still plenty of sun. It's a great balance

There's a boat launch too, so you have easy access. Also two peers that go out onto the water. So pretty!!

10/10 you should definitely go there!

We were staying at Lake Dardanelle State Park and pleasantly surprised to find these wonderful trails so close by!

A nice place to take a walk with the entire family Including the dog. It's a black top trail wide, clear and shaded all the way through. There were no strenuous heels and plenty of nature sites. There are three cut throughs so you can choose how far you want to walk before turning around. There are signs on the trail but they can be a bit confusing because they never tell you exactly where you are. But the worst that can happen is that you'll walk circles until someone finds you. ?

I looks like some clean up needs to be done in the woods area right next to the trail at the very front but over all we had a good time. I would love to see some updates done to the trails they are needing some serious attention.

The trails are relatively well-maintained, but the water fountain is unlikely to ever be functional. There's one main path with a shortcut for the lazy, and two paths that connect to the trails of the neighboring park, though one of the paths has remained closed for years even though the new bridge is in place. Poor or ineffective management, perhaps? The restrooms are about average for a city park. You can burn calories here by walking, running, or biking, but you won't find anything else to do here.

Nice place to walk. Met nice people while walking. Felt safe since other people around. Lots of turtles as seen in picture. I didn’t go to where they were seeing the alligator
